Hi, I’m Derick! I’ve grown up around dogs my entire life and have been actively helping care for pets through our family’s pet care business. I assist with daily walks, feeding, playtime, administering medications when needed, and making sure each dog feels comfortable and safe in our home. I have experience caring for dogs of all ages, from energetic puppies to senior dogs who need extra patience and attention. I understand that every dog has their own personality and routine, so I take the time to get to know each pet and provide individualized care. Because there is almost always someone home, dogs receive plenty of supervision, companionship, exercise, and affection throughout the day. I love spending time outdoors, going on walks, playing fetch, and helping pets feel relaxed and at home while their families are away. My goal is simple: to treat every dog like they’re part of the family and give pet parents peace of mind knowing their furry friend is safe, happy, and well cared for.

Schedule
One thing that makes our home special is that someone is always home! I’m home full time this summer, both of my parents are retired, and my youngest sibling is 15 and home for the summer as well. Whether it’s me or another member of my family, your pup will always have company, plenty of love, and attentive care. We make sure every dog feels safe, comfortable, and part of the family🏠🐾❤️

Your pup’s safety, happiness, and comfort are at the heart of everything we do. ❤️ Someone is always home whether it’s me or one of my family members so your dog will always have loving company and attentive care. We closely supervise playtime, potty breaks, mealtimes, and rest to make sure every pup feels safe, relaxed, and right at home. Our fully fenced backyard is perfect for supervised outdoor fun, and we’re lucky to live right next to a park for enjoyable walks and extra sniffing adventures! On hot days, we keep everyone cool inside our home, with plenty of breaks outside as needed. We treat every dog like they’re part of our family, giving them lots of love, attention, and cuddles while making sure they feel comfortable throughout their stay. 🏡🐾💕
A typical day
I love keeping dogs active and engaged! Depending on their personality and energy level, I enjoy going on walks, playing fetch, practicing basic commands with treats, playing enrichment games, and giving them plenty of attention and cuddles. My goal is to make sure they have fun, stay comfortable, and feel right at home while they’re in my care.
