We have two friendly, fixed adult dogs that live inside of the house and free roam the unfenced yard. Pet Guests will be boarded separately in the “Dog Resort” located on our 7 acre property. The indoor living space is a 140 sq.ft. Heated/Air Conditioned shed, with an XL dog door to access an over 700 sq. ft. fenced grass yard space. There is always a cool shaded area in the yard as the sun moves throughout the day.

The fenced dog yard is 5 feet high. If your dog is able to jump the fence, I will discuss other options with you (ie. tether cable or relocated into the heated shop)
A typical day
Your dog(s) will get daily walks around the acreage, throughout the forest, up & down a long driveway, alongside a cow pasture, and around a dug out (swimming is available in warm weather). My dogs will be locked in the house at this time, unless your pet(s) are friendly and sociable and would like to play with some new friends. All dogs will be wearing GPS tracking collars and be supervised at all times while outside of the dog resort compound. Live streaming of your pet inside the dog resort will be available via NEST cameras. A website link will be provided to you upon check-in. The dog resort lighting is fully automated with a simulated sun rise at 7am and sun set at 11pm. Inside temperature and humidity control is remotely monitored at all times with alarms.

Pet care experience
We have owned and cared for dogs our entire lives. In the past few years, our family has spent hundreds of hours volunteering with animals from the local animal rescue and we have fostered over 100 dogs with them of all breeds, age and sizes at our home. I am also certified in Canine first aid and CPR, and have experience in dealing with special needs pets.

Deric was great, this was the second time we used him. He takes very good care of my dogs, definitely will keep using him for any future times as well. My dogs have a great time and I can check in whenever I want to as he provides a link to a pet cam. He also gives great updates on how they are doing!
Deric was great! My dogs had a great time with him. He was very accommodating and very friendly. He was checking in regularly and gave me lots of updates. I even had access to watch my pets on a camera. I would definitely use him again!!

We were very pleased with the setup Deric has for visiting pets, definitely a dog resort! My two dogs shared a beautiful tiny house with a nicely fenced yard. And I loved that I had access to the camera set up and I could peek at them as I wished.
