I overnight board and dog walk full-time, cats as well! 🐶🐈 Your furry family will have me close by to take care of them the entire stay as it is my full-time job:) My day revolves around walking your pup and giving unending attention back and forth.

I only give filtered water to my little friends, not tap💦 On my adventures with the pups we have gone for 5+ hour/5+ mile hikes to Griffith Park (Observatory, Hollywood Sign etc.) and walk/runs to Echo Park Lake & La Live Dog Park*see pics

Please let me know if your little one has any special dietary needs or any other special conditions that need to be cared for or instructions to be followed. Please let me know of any aggression towards other pups, or if they get protective over toys/bones. All dogs are fed separately even if they get along to avoid any conflict** Your pup must be up to date on vaccinations and flea & tick prevention or I can’t take them*** If needed, we can also do a meet and greet before your pups stay:) See everyone soon!!
A typical day
I'm very hands on, playful and affectionate with all the fur babies. On average we do around 3+ walks per day but could be outside 2+ hours at a time going to the park. Most enjoy being outside as do I so that’s where we spend a lot of time.

Please read before requesting. I can’t take dogs that pull at all on walks as I’ve had recent injuries. I am gone 2 hours max each day then with the pups the rest of the day so please let me know if your pup isn’t able to stay home for 2 hours without anxiety* I watch multiple dogs at a time but take only one new dog at a time to join with my regulars I’ve watched before* I’ve been with Rover since 2015 and a full-time dog boarder for 2+ years. I have loved being around animals since I was a child with many dogs and cats as well. Being around dogs is my passion and I enjoy every furry encounter. I’m very well experienced and love what I do! My cat ziggy always looks so happy in all the photos and videos Derek shares. We always feel so at ease knowing ziggy feels so at home with Derek, and gets lots of love, attention and playtime:)

Bea is always happy to see Derek. He sends daily updates and I know she loves their walks. He even helped her with her dry nose that I had accepted was just something she was always going to have an issue with.
