Amazing care for our dog Sasha as usual! We are so comfortable leaving her with Derek and Tara.
Derek and Tara boarded our dog for over a month and did an excellent job. Our dog presented them with issues we had not experienced. They reported the issues, asked for advice and then dealt with her (dog) patiently and kindly. We highly recommend them for your dog sitting needs.
Tara and Derek are the best! Together with Grace, they took great care of our pup over the holidays. Appreciate their photo updates, honest communication, and the love they show for their boarders. We were 100% at ease with their home. Will definitely use them again!

Derek and Tara took amazing care of our puppy for one week. They provided daily photos and updates and were very accomodating with last minute schedule changes which was really appreciated. Our puppy was very happy there and I'm sure keen to go back and play with their adorable dog Grace. Derek and Tara were also great to deal with, very prompt and friendly! I would defintiely send Sasha there again and highly recommend their services.
Derek and Tara love dogs, and the dogs love them. We would not hesitate to leave our dog with them. In fact, Derek and Tara kept our dog for 3 months each year for several years while we went away for the winter. They are wonderful with all ages of dogs. They have had senior dogs and now have a dog that they rescued and she (Grace) is 4. They are patient and have help Grace with adjusting, they have done a excellent job with her. They would be excellent dog sitter!

Schedule
We don't have kids and we both work from home which provides flexibility and time that a lot of pups require based on their unique schedules and needs. We go on 2 walks daily and, we are close to multiple dog parks, including a fenced in dog park, to get those zoomies out.

Safety, trust & environment
Pet care is based on what the pet is accustomed to. Routines and schedules are important for them and also for humans to predict behaviour and assess health needs including bio breaks. Our pup is accustomed to all the cuddles, pets, belly rubs and massages. We also encourage our pup to be independent and comfortable with beds or chairs to lay on in every room. Setting animals up for success is important. If a pup takes a liking to shoes...don't leave shoes out. If they like to chew, swap out interesting chew toys or swap in more stimulus through exercise and sniffing.
Pets
A typical day
We do twice daily walks through our neighbourhood. We will throw a ball around the backyard when the weather permits but also play inside our home as well. If permitted, we love to drive to the fenced dog park 5 mins away!
