I live in Hastings, MN with my partner, kid and animals! All time outdoors is either on a leash or tether in the backyard which is largely fenced in. In addition, we have a camera system and dogs are supervised at all times. Our dog and cats are extremely friendly and submissive.

A typical day
I work 9-5 with very flexible hours and time off. My partner works from home. We spend a lot of time in our backyard and our dog is with us. Enjoy long walks and playing fetch.

Pet care experience
I am Derek. I have cared for everything from litters of kittens to horses. My passion is animals and I have three cats, one dog and various foster pets of my own. I understand that our pets ARE our kids! Whether it is walking your dog, or watching your cat for the week; I will care for your critters as if they are my own. Let me know how I can best care for your fur ball, when they eat, and any special needs. I will provide the rest! Current residents of our home include one very friendly and plump male short hair cat, his shy little sister, an energetic 3.5 year old australian shepherd / collie mix, a 2 year old Lab / German Shepherd mix and I. I have 4 cats, 2 of them are 1/2 feral. They are indoor/outdoor and Derek made sure they all received wet food twice a day. They were happy kitties when I got home. I live in the country and Derek was willing to drive to help me out. A great experience, I will ask Derek for help with vacations in the future
We love this guy! Derek is very friendly, honest, and sincere. It's clear he loves animals and vice-versa. My cats liked him a lot and he was good about following our instructions, and making adjustments as needed. We will definitely use him again! Highly recommended.
Derek is very professional and dependable. He has a clear passion and love of animals, and was comfortable around our highly reactive and unpredictable Shiba Inu.
