Work-from-home dog dad with fence!
I rescued and raised my dog, Denver, since he was a puppy using positive reinforcement methods from several licensed and accredited dog trainers. My wife teaches Animal Behavior at IU so I stay up-to-date on the latest behavioral research. I'm very caring and will ensure your dog has a comfortable stay :)

Derek and family did an amazing job sitting my dog. I received many photos and she received lots of love and attention. Their dogs are sweet and accepting. I'll be booking again.
We would definitely rebook with Derek. We got frequent updates and photos. Our girls seemed to have a great time with his dogs and family. They were treated so well. Thrilled he had the fenced in backyard. He took care of giving out the medications for one of our girls. Communication was great when it came to coordinate drop off and pick up. Made our long weekend out of state much more enjoyable knowing our two huskies were in good hands.
Another great boarding experience for Carson. Very flexible on schedule drop off and pick up times.
We love leaving Ruby with Derek & his family! He sends the best pictures of her playing with his son, and also of her cuddling up with all of them. We look forward to using him again in the future.
Ruby absolutely loves going to Derek’s and gets very excited when she knows that she is going there. I love knowing that she’s happy and well cared for. Derek sends lots of pictures and I can see that she’s having a ball!
Derek and family took Carson in and treated him like family. He sent pictures daily showing Carson interacting with their dog and family. Carson appeared to be happy and safe and assured us that he was very well care for and loved. I really appreciated Derek's flexibility on drop off and pick up time, very accommodating . Great to work with and will use him again

I work from home full time with lots of breaks during my day to let my dog out and run him around the yard. We can also go on short walks around the neighborhood in the mornings and evenings.

I have a fully fenced yard and a doggy door for small dogs, like mine, to freely go into the yard and return to the house. I also will go out into the yard during the day to play fetch and get my dog to run around. Dogs are welcome on the furnite and bed. I will send pictures throughout the stay to let you know how your dog is doing and I'm very responsive to any inquiries.
