I enjoy walking dogs at my home along with playing in my large fenced in back yard. I sometimes will bring dogs to dog parks if requested, or to an empty field for more room to play fetch/frisbee. The dogs play outside 6-8 hours per day (weather permitting).

I grew up around dogs and love spending time with them! My goal is to make dogs as comfortable as they can be while they are away from home, they are treated like family and can expect to spend their time playing in my large fenced in yard and snuggling up on the couch.

Derek is the best. Our pups love going to his house, they barely look back to say goodbye when we drop them off! Thanks for taking great care of our babies! He’s also super communicative and flexible.

Mallow enjoyed his time running around with all of the other dogs. Derek was super responsive and easy to work with.
Derek was a great host and communicator. My honest feedback when it comes to expectation verses reality would be I thought I was just getting a dog sitter at their personal house. I chose Derek because he had an enclosed yard and no personal pets. When I arrived he was hosting other pets. I didn’t ask these questions because I didn’t consider that the hosts take on more pets, mind you I’m already bringing over 3 of my own. The reason for my concern is -my youngest pet doesn’t like most other dogs and I want to alleviate as much stress as possible. -All of my dogs are vaccinated, and on flea & tick meds. I didn’t have to submit these records so I have no clue what the condition of the other dogs are. Kennel cough is one I’m especially concerned about. Nothing is perfect, everything comes with a risk, and with all that said everything went smoothly. We’re just picky parents. Boarding is expensive and so is this service, I just thought it would be a little bit more personalized and more of a family feel verses a home business kennel situation.
