We aren’t home full time, but my wife is home 2-3 days a week. I also come home for lunch everyday. We will be around to give lots of attention and potty breaks!

We have a fenced yard and a walkable neighborhood for lots of walks. We miss having a dog around, but also know that it is hard to board a dog at a kennel. We loved using Rover because we felt good about leaving them with someone who cared about them all day. We would love the chance to keep your mind at ease while you travel.

We’ve been a dedicated dog owners for the past 19 years, caring for pets through every stage of life—from energetic puppies to senior dogs needing extra attention. We recently lost both our dogs to old age and aren’t ready for a new one yet. Our 4 year old really misses having a dog to play with! In addition, I worked at a veterinary clinic during high school, where I gained hands-on experience assisting with basic pet care, handling animals safely, and observing proper health and hygiene practices.

They were so good with the dogs and communicated a lot throughout the stay. We got a lot of pictures of the pups having a great time.

We had such an amazing experience! Derek is incredibly reliable, trustworthy, and truly has a genuine love for animals. From the start, I felt completely comfortable leaving our dog in his care. He treated our dog like his own—giving lots of attention, affection, and care—and kept us updated with messages and photos, which we really appreciated. It’s not easy to find someone you fully trust with your pet, but he exceeded all expectations. We will absolutely be booking with him again and highly recommend him to anyone looking for a caring and dependable sitter!
