I am an enthusiastic, caring, and responsible dog-lover. I can’t remember a time when I have not been caring for pets, especially dogs whether it was my own or family. I have some experience with light obedience training for puppies. Also, one of my favorite things to do was take my sisters dog for long walks on a local bike path

I am only available to care for dogs in their homes, since I’m living with my girlfriend and her family in PA for the time being while she completes an internship.

Derek is trustworthy and polite, he took care of our cat in our home over the weekend. When we returned from our trip, we could tell that the cat had food and water every day :) but the litter box was not thoroughly cleaned and the Rover cards show that the visits were shorter than we had initially requested. Derek kept our cat fed and hydrated, but more time and attention would have been appreciated, which is the reason this is not a 5-star review. He did mention that he has more experience with dogs, this may have been a factor. Overall, thank you for your help Derek! :)
If I could give Derek 10 stars, I would! He was fantastic with my high energy dogs. Family and friends are normally apprehensive on dog sitting because of their energy. Derek house sat my dogs for 5 days and they loved him. He also kept my home extremely clean throughout his stay. He sent me photos and checked in with me regularly. We will definitely be working with Derek more in the future. Thank you Derek!!!
Derek did an amazing job staying at our home for a week to watch our two dogs while my family and I were on vacation! He is incredibly pleasant, friendly and trustworthy and I would highly recommended him for any type of services needed. Thank you Derek for being so good to the pups and doing so awesome with their medication needs! They miss ya already!
Derek was really responsible and clearly took good care of our dogs. We would definitely use him again.
Derek did an outstanding job watching our pup from a Thursday to a Monday. He stayed at our house and took excellent care of her while maintaining a clean house. He did his dishes and even washed the sheets he used during his stay. Blankets were folded nicely, trash was taken out, the garden was watered, and he was respectful and communicated well the whole time we were away. Honestly our best rover experience yet and we will pick him first every time in the future. Thank you for your service!
Derek was our housesitter for 4 days. Our 3 large dogs loved him and believe me they can be a handful. We had absolutely no issues or problems. ???

Schedule
I recently left my part time job as a line cook at a local restaurant. I now have more open availability and am looking to fill my schedule (for the months of July & August) with caring for your wonderful pets.
