Dereck was awesome with my dog, Java. He took her on lots of adventures and treated her like his own. I’d definitely book with Dereck again!

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Dereck! He has been an absolute dream of a pet sitter for my beloved Princess Charlotte Apricot. From the moment they met, it was clear there was a special bond forming — she absolutely adores him, and it’s easy to see why. Dereck is incredibly sweet, patient, and attentive. He takes the time to understand her quirks (and she has quite a few!) and treats her with so much love and respect, it honestly feels like leaving her with family. I get regular updates, photos, and little notes that always bring a smile to my face and peace to my heart. What I appreciate most is the genuine care Dereck shows — he doesn’t just “watch” Charlotte; he connects with her, plays with her, and ensures she feels safe and cherished. Knowing she’s in such capable and compassionate hands allows me to be away from home without stress or guilt. If you’re lucky enough to have Dereck available — book him! Dereck was patient and kind with our small dog, who is hyper-attached to me. This was her first time being apart from me since adoption (except vet overnights). She didn't relax for hours, but Dereck kept trying different approaches and was so good with her. I hope to keep working to get her comfortable with future visits. I would strongly recommend Dereck as a sitter.

Dereck was amazing with Piper. Being an energetic doggo, Dereck knew exactly how to get her moving and exploring each day! He sent us pictures and videos of Piper loving life out in nature and relaxing in the home! She came back o e tired dog, which is fantastic! Would 100% have Dereck take care of Piper again!

Dereck was lovely with Stella! He was calm and welcoming to her on her first visit. It was a chilly day and he had even put out a cozy bed for her in front of the fireplace. She clearly had a great time. Thanks Dereck!!

Dereck recently lost his dog and let me just tell you this dog was his life. This dog needed 24/7 care due to his past. This dog had the best quality of food, treats, bed, trail hikes and love for the past 9 years! When Dereck had to get care for his dog I was usually the one stepping in. My St. Bernard helped his dog calm right down from his anxiety. Not many could have cared for his dog, he probably would have been put down due to his anxiety. Dereck gave him the best of life, we called his dog the "Golden Child" his dog could go visit my family but not mine! LOL due to drool and size! I will also be appling to Rover soon as my dog would love visitors!
