Safety, trust & environment

Safety, trust, and environment are a big part of how I care for dogs. I always make sure I understand their routine and any boundaries before anything else, so they feel secure with me. I stay aware on walks, keep them on safe routes, and watch their body language so nothing gets out of control. I’ve grown up around dogs so I’m comfortable handling different temperaments, and energy levels. Building trust is important to me, so I stay calm, consistent, and patient with them instead of rushing anything. I also make sure their environment feels stable, clean, comfortable, and familiar so they’re not stressed while their owners are away. I pay attention to details like doors, food, water, and anything they could get into just to keep everything safe. Overall, I treat every dog like they’re my responsibility and make sure they feel secure, understood, and cared for.

Please let me know about any special request or quirks that your pet has it helps me to learn their likes and make them feel comfortable which is what I want most for them :)

A typical day

A typical day pet sitting for me is pretty simple. I show up, make sure they’re good, and start with food and fresh water. For dogs, I take them out for walks, play with them, and make sure they actually get energy out since I’m really active anyway. I’ve grown up around dogs in my household so I’m use to daily activities with them. I also think mental stimulation is just as important as physical exercise, so I like doing little things that keep them thinking, not just running around but things like training games, sniff walks, or small challenges. It’s more than just watching them to me it’s about creating a fun day for them in a new environment. With cats, I take a calm, observant approach and focus on learning their behavior, routines, and comfort levels. I pay attention to how they act, what they respond to, and what they prefer so I can adjust how I interact with them. Some are more independent, some want attention, and I respect both. I handle feeding, litter, and check-ins while making sure their space stays clean and stress-free. By the end, I just make sure they are comfortable, and they’re good before I leave.

Pet care experience

I have experience taking care of both dogs and cats in a responsible and consistent way from a young age. My best experience is from my pet Louise who is a pit mix, I learned a lot from this when it comes to handling different behaviors and needs as this was the first animal that was my own and not a family dog. I grew up around both big and small dogs, so I’m very comfortable with all breeds and sizes. I’m also a very active person, so I can keep up with walks, playtime, and outdoor exercise without any issue. I make sure dogs are fed on time and get the attention and structure they need. Overall, I’m reliable, attentive, and I treat every pet like they’re my own.
