Pet care experience
Casual pet care for casual pets
Since moving to Florida, I had a hard time adjusting. Having a dog was a pretty big change for the family, but we soon fell in love with our fellow pets, despite all the ups and downs of life. Our third and final dog, Giro, lived with us for a bit over half of my existence, and losing him proved especially painful. As an autistic person, I have gone through many struggles in life, and pets—whether my own or someone else’s—bring me joy and relief whenever I come across them. My professional experience is limited, but I hope to make the most of my life experience to take care of your pets. UPDATE: Due to lack of specialized training, I am no longer taking in Belgian Malinois pups. I apologize for any inconvenience this may cause, but I would prefer for all parties—human and pet alike—to be safe, and to do that I need to be aware of my limits and be more selective of what types of dogs I can take in.

Left Rocky again for a second time while I travelled for almost 2 weeks and she took great care of him as always.

Denys was great with my boy. I was very concerned at first because Ive never boarded my boy before. Hes a senior dog and I was worried about leaving him in an unknown place. Denys sent updates and pictures which calmed my fears, not completely hahaha but it was comforting as a paranoid momma. This is a safe place for your baby.

Denys went above and beyond taking care of Sailor. She was very attentive to her with her picky eating, and provided honest feedback and updates to me. I never worried about her and knew she was in good hands. I loved all the pictures sent to me!

We had an overall okay experience. Luna appeared to be safe and cared for, communication during the day was limited and we did not receive regular updates as expected with more consistent communication and attention to the outline care instructions. The experience could’ve been better.

Denys is always so amazing with Zoey. I appreciate the pictures and her honesty when providing us with feedback, during Zoey’s stay.

This was my first time using the app, and we truly could not have left our puppy in better hands. She and her sister were amazing last-minute dog sitters—beyond caring and communicative throughout the entire weekend. I received frequent pictures and thoughtful updates on how Stella was doing without ever having to ask, which gave me so much peace of mind. Thank you so much for taking such loving care of her!

Schedule
My schedule is fairly flexible, though I may be unavailable at certain times due to appointments or family/personal business. On the rare chance I have to leave the house, one of my family members will be available to supervise the pet until I return. I currently don't have house sitting available due to limitations in transport, but I offer day care services at my home.

Home characteristics
Safety, trust & environment
My family house has a fenced yard, but the yard has plenty of space for small-sized dogs. The interior is a bit small and my family is more accustomed to laid-back dogs, but I have experience sitting for more energetic pets as well and can make accomodations whenever possible. Our neighborhood is quiet with low traffic, creating a perfect environment for dog walks! Access to furniture is restricted, but I will personally allow pets on my own bed if they need rest. (For context, my bedroom leads right into the backyard.) I also take care of a physically disabled sister, who travels around the house by crawling, so please make me aware if the dog is especially energetic. Unfortunately, I cannot take cats as our house is not cat-proofed. Due to limited space, I typically prefer dogs of around 30 pounds or less, but I may take in larger dogs depending on their breed and temperament.
A typical day
My family is generally accustomed to more laid-back dogs, but for ones who require a bit more activity, I can play with them in the yard and take them for walks around the neighborhood. I also have a bin filled with pet toys for dogs to play with. I also have supplies for other needs, such as spare food/water bowls, harnesses of various sizes, brushes and combs, and even wipes and sprays for cleaning.
