We both grew up on horse farms and have cared for animals of all types and ages for the past 40 years. Denton's family fostered dogs that were rescued from difficult circumstances and needed extra care to trust people, and his first job was working in a pet store, where he learned about the needs of fish, birds, and reptiles. Elizabeth cared for horses, cats, dogs, chickens, and ducks from an early age. Pets have always been a big part of our lives - we even had a Rottweiler as the ring bearer at our wedding!

They are absolutely incredible. My pup had a seizure under their care due to a disorder she has and they got her promptly to the vet. They took such wonderful care of her and I knew she was in great hands the whole time.
Elizabeth responded quickly and professionally to our last minute request, and too great care of Marley. She took Marley on long evening walks and kept us up to date, including fun photos. We would definitively request again.
We were so impressed with Denton and Elizabeth. We left our 3 dogs in their care for 9 days. They took great care of them, sent lots of updates, pictures and videos. They even baked homemade doggie cupcakes to celebrate our pups 1st birthday! We will definitely be returning customers!
I would absolutely book with Denton and Elizabeth again! This was the first time we’ve ever had to board our dog for a night, and we were a little nervous about it. They were very professional and communicated efficiently with us on exactly how Joy would be cared for, gave great details and daily updates, and were very kind to both Joy and our family during this transition. Joy was too nervous to eat much of her food, but Elizabeth kept us posted on her condition and sent pictures and videos to show that despite her anxiety, she was thoroughly enjoying getting to run around the yard and getting lots of loving attention, fresh air and exercise. We really appreciated both of them and the set up and experience they were able to offer!

Schedule
Denton works from home 50% of the time and Elizabeth is retired, so someone is always home. Our dogs typically sleep from 11 pm to 7 am, but your pet will be able to keep its own schedule.

Safety, trust & environment
We live on 10 acres and have lots of room for dogs to run in a safe, fenced, shady, peaceful environment. We will typically keep our dogs separate from yours, unless you specifically ask for your dog to have some company. We welcome groups up to four (negotiable depending on size) and will only have one client at a time.

A typical day
At our home, your dog's activity will completely depend on their needs. All dogs will have access to a large, safe, fenced yard. On request, based on a successful meet and greet, our coonhound would love to play with your pup. She is young and has so much energy to share. If it is better for your dog to exercise with us, then we can play ball together or go for a walk around our rural neighborhood. Just let us know what works best for your dog!
