I'm retired or semi retired now so my schedule is flexible. Walking is good for me so walking dogs fits into my goals to get fit.

Safety, trust & environment
My house is very safe with a fenced in backyard. The fur babies will be constantly with me or a family member to monitor everything. There is also a veterinary clinic very close, within walking distance, but I don't think that would ever factor. More importantly, I feel I take the responsibility of caring for peoples pets very seriously. I spent a career in engineering and quality systems and I feel I am pretty safety conscious about everything.

Information Dennis W. would like to know about your pet
I currently own a beagle mix that is around 50 lbs, she is super friendly and gets along with all dogs. I also have two cats, both female and generally keep out of the way.
A typical day
I don't work full time (I do some part time work) and control my schedule so I chose to hang out with my dog which is a medium sized beagle mixed (female). I have a dog door which she comes and goes as she pleases. The doggy door leads to a fenced backyard where she can play or do her thing. We have three nice parks close to the house so there are good choices to go when we walk in the morning. Inside the house I have a choice of dog beds, I don't have any rules about the sofa or bed, she can hop on either and take naps. At night there are sleeping options, I do have an empty spare room if a kennel needs to be setup (for quiet space). I am normally home, if I am out my sister is home so the dogs are not by themselves. My dog has a little separation anxiety so I always make sure someone in my family is around. But again, I'm usually the homebody.

Reviews
Dennis W. cancelled a booking 1 day before it was scheduled to begin.

Dennis is always great and reliable.

We are total helicopter dog parents and Dennis is terrific with our doggie. He keeps us posted about her activities and sends photos. He’s a top-notch dog sitter in every way.

Dennis was the best! He took amazing care of our Bernedoodle for 15 days while we were on vacation. He took extra effort to ensure that he would be a good fit with his own dog Oakley and did practice walks before the stay. Dennis’ communication was exceptional and he posted daily photos of our dog and daily walks. I highly recommend Dennis if you are looking for a responsible and caring sitter!
