Yes...I'm one of those nervous Dog Mom's.........Dennis was kind enough to let us do several "drop ins"/meet & greet. We have only left Hazel (2yr Cockapoo) with our neighbors twice, so she is not use to being around other dogs. We felt that Dennis had so much patience and knowledge and willing to make Hazels stay comfortable. We were heading out o the country, so on drop off night it was tough for me, but Dennis assured us that he would keep us updated daily with her stay and behavior. He sent videos and a daily basis many times a day, as far as walks, what she was eating, her interactions with other dogs, and when she went potty. Daily videos were very comforting to me/us and Dennis knew I was the nervous one. He tried different food options (which we didn't mind) but always checked with us first, and Hazel of courses loved the variety. I would HIGHLY recommend Dennis for your pets needs as far as boarding. You will not be disappointed. We will book him again for future travels.

Hes awesome! Im so happy with how many walks he walks my Finn. He walks him so much he comes home to think im going to walk 2 or 3 times a day. 😔

Schedule
I'm retired or semi retired now so my schedule is flexible. Walking is good for me so walking dogs fits into my goals to get fit.

Safety, trust & environment
My house is very safe with a fenced in backyard. The fur babies will be constantly with me or a family member to monitor everything. There is also a veterinary clinic very close, within walking distance, but I don't think that would ever factor. More importantly, I feel I take the responsibility of caring for peoples pets very seriously. I spent a career in engineering and quality systems and I feel I am pretty safety conscious about everything.
Pets
A typical day
I don't work full time (I do some part time work) and control my schedule so I chose to hang out with my dog which is a medium sized beagle mixed (female). I have a dog door which she comes and goes as she pleases. The doggy door leads to a fenced backyard where she can play or do her thing. We have three nice parks close to the house so there are good choices to go when we walk in the morning. Inside the house I have a choice of dog beds, I don't have any rules about the sofa or bed, she can hop on either and take naps. At night there are sleeping options, I do have an empty spare room if a kennel needs to be setup (for quiet space). My typical routine is to wake up pretty early and take everyone for a walk to catch the sunrise (I feel its healthy to catch the sunrise and sunsets). Once we get back home I lay out breakfast. Typically I always separate the clients dogs during meals. In my experience most clients will nap until mid day, I'll be giving pee breaks every 2-4hrs until dinner. After dinner we would typically have a second walk as evening approaches.
