Pet care fits naturally into our daily routine, and we’re able to work around most schedules without any issues. My husband works from home, so there’s almost always someone around, and your pet won’t be left alone for long stretches. We’re homebodies and keep things pretty low key, which works well for pets who enjoy consistency and company. We also have a daughter who we take on walks regularly, so adding a dog walk into the day is already part of our routine and never a problem.

Safety and comfort are always our top priorities. We live in a spacious, pet friendly condo where pets are free to move around and settle in wherever they feel most comfortable. They’re welcome in all rooms, have plenty of space to relax, and if they’re used to sleeping in the bed, that’s perfectly fine with us. We keep our home calm, clean, and low stress, and we’re very attentive and gentle, especially with pets who may be shy or need a little extra reassurance. Our goal is to make them feel at home, not like they’re in a new or unfamiliar place. When caring for pets in their own home, we’re very respectful of your space and routines. We follow instructions closely, keep everything the way you leave it, and make sure your pet stays in the environment they’re already comfortable with. Whether in our home or yours, your pet will be supervised, cared for, and treated like part of the family.

Before a stay, it’s helpful for us to know a bit about your pet’s routine and needs. Things like their age, energy level, potty schedule, and whether they take any medications are important so we can care for them properly. We also appreciate knowing about any habits, quirks, or preferences your pet has, from favorite toys to feeding routines. The more we know ahead of time, the easier it is for us to make sure your pet feels comfortable, safe, and well cared for.
A typical day
A typical day with us includes plenty of attention, movement, and downtime. We live in a very pet friendly community with walking paths, and we genuinely enjoy getting outside for walks, especially since we already take daily walks with our toddler. Dogs we board usually go on three to four walks a day, depending on their energy level, and we’re always happy to add more if needed. For more energetic dogs, longer walks or extra playtime are never an issue. At home, there’s lots of interaction and play. We spend time playing indoor games like fetch or tug of war with dogs, and using toys and interactive play for cats as well. Of course, we also make sure there’s plenty of time to relax, nap, and just hang out together. We try to match each pet’s routine and personality, whether that means staying active or keeping things calm and cozy.

I’ve been around pets for as long as I can remember. Growing up, I helped care for multiple dogs and cats, so being responsible for pets has always felt normal to me. Over the years, I’ve cared for dogs, cats, and smaller pets, and I’m comfortable handling different personalities, routines, and energy levels. Whether it’s feeding, walks, playtime, or just keeping them company, I make sure each pet feels safe and cared for. My husband helps as well and is very attentive and gentle with animals, so your pet gets double the care and attention. Together, we’re reliable, calm, and genuinely enjoy spending time with pets, not just checking in and leaving.
