Day care covers up to 10 hours. Drop-off is available between 7am and 10am, and collection between 4pm and 7pm. Extended hours are welcome subject to an additional £10 charge. Prices shown on the booking request page for pick-up and drop-off are based on a 3-mile radius; bookings outside this radius may be subject to an additional charge.

Your dog will be kept on a harness and lead when outdoors. I use either a 5-metre adjustable lead or a 20-metre long line, depending on your dog's comfort level, to allow safe freedom while maintaining full control. Off-lead walking may be considered once I have assessed their recall and behaviour, and this has been mutually agreed. Their safety is always my top priority.

To ensure a safe and relaxed environment, please let me know your dog's routine and care needs when requesting a booking. I would like to know what type of diet they will arrive with (kibble, wet etc.), any details of illnesses or medications, how they behave around other dogs and people, any history of anxiety or reactivity, and if they can settle calmly in a home environment. Please note that all dogs must be fully up to date with their regular flea and worming treatments.
A typical day
Depending on your dog’s preferences and your approval, their day may include interactive play at home with their favourite toys, local park walks, a car outing to the beach and elsewhere if they enjoy travelling, or a visit to a dog-friendly café or pub. Their stay is always tailored to your dog’s energy level, comfort and personality, including a gentle pace should your dog be naturally lower-energy or a slowing-down senior.

I offer 1-to-1 household-exclusive day care and overnight boarding, strictly on a one-household-at-a-time basis. Your dog or dogs will receive my full attention in a calm, home-from-home environment. Because dog care is my full-time work, I am present throughout their stay to provide consistent care and attention. I’ve cared for dogs, cats, and other animals throughout my life, with experience across a wide range of breeds, personalities, and care needs. Until April this year, I shared my home with my Yorkie cross, Tilly. She came to me as a nervous ex-breeding dog, and with time, patience, and care, she blossomed into a confident, playful and gentle companion. I was lucky to share nine wonderful years with her. I’m not ready for another pet of my own yet, but I miss having a dog in the home, which is why I continue to offer my services through Rover. Your dog will be cared for with the same kindness, patience, and attention that Tilly received throughout her life. I live in a ground-floor flat, which is ideal for dogs of all shapes and sizes. I have a small, private, fenced area with stones for toileting. If your dog prefers not to use this, I can easily take them on a harness and lead to the nearby communal garden just outside my gate. I provide regular photo, video, and message updates for your peace of mind. Denise was amazing and I won't hesitate to rebook her. Lexi really enjoyed herself, taking walks and playing. Denise was fantastic at communication - sending lots of pictures and keeping us posted on how Lexi was doing. All in all a great experience.
