I offer personalised, 1-to-1 dog care including home drop-in visits, private dog walking, exclusive day care and overnight boarding. For day care and overnight boarding, I operate strictly on a one-household-at-a-time basis, so your dog or dogs will never be part of a multi-dog setting. They will receive my full attention in a calm, home environment. I’ve cared for dogs, cats, and other animals throughout my life. Until April this year, I shared my home with my Yorkie cross, Tilly. She came to me as a nervous ex-breeding dog, and with time, patience, and care, she blossomed into a happy, confident and gentle companion. I was lucky to share nine wonderful years with her. I’m not ready for another pet of my own yet, but I miss having a dog, which is why I continue to offer my services on Rover. I particularly enjoy caring for dogs who are happiest spending time with people and being part of everyday life. Your dog will be cared for with the same kindness, patience, and understanding that Tilly received throughout her life. I take my commitments seriously and aim to provide reliable care. ✦ DROP-IN VISITS & DOG WALKING ✦ Drop-in visits and dog walking are tailored to your dog’s needs — whether that means feeding and fresh water, a companion visit, some time in the garden, or a gentle walk around the block. I’ll send a quick message after each visit. Before your first booking, I’ll arrange a brief meet and greet at your home so we can put faces to names, meet your dog or dogs in their familiar environment, form an initial bond and go through everything I need to know. HOUSE SITTING / HOLIDAY STAYS: I may also be able to accommodate house sitting / holiday stays for dogs and cats who live in the home, once we’ve got to know each other and built a mutual trust. ✦ DAY CARE & OVERNIGHT BOARDING ✦ For overnight boarding and day care, I live in a spacious, smoke-free ground-floor flat that has a small private patio area with stones for toileting. If your dog prefers not to use this, I can easily take them on their lead to the nearby communal garden just outside my gate. During their stay, dogs receive companionship and daily local park walks, with occasional car outings such as visits to a dog-friendly café or beach if they are comfortable travelling by car. I adapt their care to their age, energy levels and individual needs, including a gentle, leisurely pace for senior or lower-energy dogs. You’ll receive a message and photo within the first few hours to reassure you that your dog has settled, followed by daily evening updates — less if preferred. I like to arrange a brief, stress-free 10-minute meet and greet before your dog's first booking, usually in the afternoon or evening at one of my local parks. It's a great opportunity to put a face to the name and form an initial bond with your dog or dogs before we begin. Please ensure the drop-off and collection times entered in your Rover booking request are as accurate as possible. I understand that journeys don't always go to plan and delays can happen.
