I have been surrounded by animals of all kinds my entire life. I was raised helping my mom care for foster animals from our local rescue, for the past 5 years I have worked in animal care as a veterinary assistant, and I have been servicing clients on Rover for almost 10 years now. I have experience working at an animal rescue center where I was trained in animal behaviour. Meaning, I am comfortable around animals of various temperaments including extremely nervous and/or reactive dogs and cats. I have an understanding of basic positive reinforcement training provided which allows me to feel comfortable redirecting and rewarding your pets behaviours as needed. I have spent the past 5 years working as a veterinary assistant, specifically in emergency medicine and surgery. I have worked with cats, dogs and horses! I am working towards a career as a registered veterinary technician. Because of this, I am comfortable administering medication and can closely observe your pets health during our time together to make sure they are comfortable and healthy. My passion is animal welfare. I have dedicated my whole life to spending as much time with animals as I can. From horseback riding lessons, to helping my mom with foster kittens, to now dedicating a career in veterinary medicine. I am comfortable and confident with all breeds and behaviours. I am always happy to meet in person before booking a service and providing as many updates as you wish while with your pet. Do not hesitate to ask any questions, I want to make your experience with me as comfortable and clear as possible!

Safety, trust & environment
When booking a service with me, the first thing I do is clarify any rules and restrictions you have for your pet and/or your home. The first service with your pet can sometimes be stressful since I am a new person. For that reason I like to do a meet and greet before if possible, and I want to try to stick to the same routine you have with your pet.
