Your Pup’s Home Away from Home – One Dog at a Time! My husband and I have cared for dogs our entire lives, and at one point, we were home to four senior pups with varying health and wellness needs. After saying goodbye to our beloved 18-year-old Shih Tzu, we are now a pet-free home—meaning your dog will receive our full attention and care without the distraction of other animals. What Makes Us Special? 🐾 Exclusive Care – We only board one dog at a time, ensuring your pup gets plenty of love, attention, and personalized care. 🏡 Home-Like Comfort – Our spacious, single-level home features tile floors, a screened-in patio, and a large fenced-in yard with grassy areas to explore. We do have a pool, but we don’t allow dogs in for swimming and we don’t let dogs on the patio without supervision. 🚶♂️ Daily Walks & Playtime – We offer leash walks around our safe Kingsmill neighborhood and plenty of playtime in our yard. 🩺 Medication Administration – Comfortable giving oral medications as needed. 🧼 Clean & Hygienic – We vacuum carpets, launder small rugs, and steam clean tiled areas between guests. For longer stays, we’re happy to wash your pet’s bedding unless requested otherwise. 👶 Kid-Friendly & Gentle – We have a child who adores animals and is very gentle with them. Your pup will feel like they’re on vacation while staying with us! We invite you to schedule a meet and greet so you can see where your dog will stay and ensure they feel comfortable before boarding. Loving, caring, affectionate attention is what my puppy was given the whole time she was in their care. Piper received the best care while in their home. She had space to run she had room to sun and rest. Piper enjoyed her stay and told me that she’d like to go back. overall, I was very satisfied with the videos that I got the pictures that I received.
Denise is the best. She sends pics and videos daily. Always attentive to Gus. Gus is squealing with delight every time we pull up to her house. Can't recommend her enough. A happy environment for Gus. Gus comes home happy and content. Highly recommend. You won't be disappointed.
Denise was responsive and communicated very clearly with us leading up to and during our dog’s stay with her and her family. It couldn’t have gone better. Everything from the meet and greet on was perfect. I would and will be rebooking with Denise and her family. I have no doubt that our dog was cared for like their own pet.

Schedule
Pet care easily fits within our daily routine as a my husband is retired and usually at the home most of the day. Once my daughter gets home from her school days, she loves interacting with the pet we are sitting. Your pup will have no shortage of attention and opportunities to play.

Safety, trust & environment
Your pup will get an ample amount of playtime with our large fenced in yard and walks in our quiet neighborhood. The screened lanai is also the perfect place for your pup to relax and either soak up the sun or relax under the shade. Sorry, your pup can't jump in the pool and your dog will be supervised while on the patio to prevent any potential accidents. Your pup is also welcome to join us on morning and afternoon walks. If I'm visiting your home, I'll be checking both food and water levels and will refresh as needed, provide a potty break, and offer a little playtime and attention to break up the day. I can also spot check the common areas for any accidents and do a quick clean up.
A typical day
If staying at my home for daycare or boarding overnight, your pup can expect a stroll around the neighborhood, play time outside, and plenty of treats and fresh water.
