I am a professional, licensed, bonded and insured in-home pet care service. I have a non smoking home. With over 28 years experience in pet care, I have made it my passion to care for animals. I also have experience as a volunteer with dog rescue organizations. When you hire me, you can be assured that your dog will receive the love and care they deserve. They become part of my family! I also maintain First Aid/CPR training and certification. Whether they need walking, play, or just TLC, I will make sure they feel safe, secure, and loved in my home!

Denise is the best! She stayed in our home and cared for our two dogs for two and a half weeks while we were on vacation, and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. She sent us frequent pictures and updates, and it was clear that she genuinely cared about bonding with our dogs and keeping them happy, comfortable, and safe. One of our dogs has severe anxiety, especially during storms and loud noises, and Denise was incredibly patient, attentive, and understanding with her. Knowing she was in such caring and capable hands gave us so much peace of mind. She also took wonderful care of our home, which gave us so much peace of mind while we were away. Being able to enjoy our vacation without worrying about our dogs or our house was priceless—and probably the hardest thing for any pet owner to achieve when traveling! We couldn’t recommend Denise enough and would absolutely trust her to care for our dogs and home again!
The Faithful Pet Friend and Denise Mayer is a top-notch service. Denise treats all her client’s pets as if they were her own. She is the owner and sole employee which means she is the person that greets and bonds with your pet and will be the same person on every visit, you can’t get that with the larger services who may send whoever is available. It is wonderful to have someone caring for your pet that is as familiar with their behavior as you are!

I have a large fenced in backyard with a 6ft privacy fence with secure locks. The home in one level so no stairs are involved. Very dog friendly. You dog becomes a member of my family while here!

A typical day
There are plenty of toys, ball, and games here. There are plenty of dog beds, but visitors are also allowed on the furniture. If your dog likes outings, I live near a large park with several trails. My neighborhood is also dog friendly.
