I decided to give up working full time as a social worker last summer to concentrate on training to be a dog groomer as well as looking after dogs so I'm at home all day every day.

A typical day
I have a very large enclosed garden where dogs can feel safe and play or just take an afternoon snooze if the weather's fine. I spend a lot of time in my garden with my own dog there are lots of shaded areas and plenty of room to throw a ball.

Ive been brought up with dogs which were labradors and have had dogs of my own for the last 20 years. My own dogs were rescued and had behavioural issues when they arrived however with a lot of love and attention this improved with all 3 of my dogs. Unfortunately 2 of my precious shih tzus passed away and have one special lady who is getting on in years but still very happy being taken for walks in her pet stroller.

Denise and her partner showed such genuine compassion, patience, and attentiveness, especially knowing Apple is blind and needs that extra layer of care and reassurance. Their home is a beautiful, calm environment, and it was clear from the moment we arrived that Apple was in the very best hands. We came away feeling completely at ease, and Apple clearly did too. A very successful stay for Dill. He greatly enjoyed himself and had some wonderful walks in the lovely countryside surrounding the house. I thoroughly recommend Denise.
Denise was really helpful, responsive and flexible when we made our booking. She has a lovely home and a great garden. Our dog came back very happy and well cared for. I would definitely recommend her and will be using her again.
We worried about using this service but Denise was very accommodating and responsive to us. Denise will now be my go to for any future doggie care needs
