Experienced loving host for yr dog!
My husband and I have retired and live in Saddlebrooke. We both watched dogs before when we lived in Columbus and now in Arizona and we LOVE it! Between the two of us we are home alot to spoil our (and your!) dogs, but do note that we do take bike rides etc in the 2-3 hour range several times a week. We watch ONLY ONE family’s dog(s) at one time so that we can give YOUR pet the special attention that he or she deserves. I have found each dog that we've watched to be a special gift in his or her own way and consider it a real blessing to be given the honor of watching your pet. I've been watching dogs for decades for family, neighbors and friends and loving it! I have always had dogs, helped my uncle raising schnauzer's, and done obedience work with several of my dogs - who were amazing! We have one dog, Emmie, a 15 yr old Havanese who while initially wary of new dogs and people becomes friends. She is pretty low key ( and toothless) and so dogs that have very high energy would not be a good fit. She accepts other dogs but doesn't usually care to play with them (but we do!!) We also require all dogs that we watch to be up to date on all immunizations, and are fully house broken and non aggressive. Dogs are welcome on our furniture and on our bed. We have a secure five foot fence in our back yard.

Wonderful care!
Our dogs, Scout and Molly, had another wonderful stay with Denise. We especially appreciate her sending photos of our two with her adorable fur baby, Emmie.
Excellent experience with Denise. She was wonderful with my Chinese Crested Powder Puff who came back very happy with the experience. Denise's home was perfect for my little dog since she also has another little dog who got along with Terry. Terry was frequently walked on sidewalks in her neighborhood and in her lovely back garden. She always has the dogs on leashes as a protection, even in her walled back area. I look forward to using her again.
This was my first time using Rover and my first experience having my dog boarded by someone other than a friend/family member and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. I love that Denise only accepts one pup at a time. I got messages, video, and picture updates daily. I didn’t stress one bit with my pup’s stay which was SUCH a relief. I would definitely book with Denise again and I would recommend her to anyone looking to rest assured that their dog is in good hands!
Very caring dog sitter. The home is spacious and lovely. Her policy of never taking a dog (regardless of size) out of doors unless on a leash is commendable. Appreciate the fact that she takes your dog on a daily walk/s. Meticulous in following through with feeding instructions. Makes every attempt to replicate the eating, sleeping, exercise routine that has been established by the owner. Appreciate the fact that Denise only accepts the dogs of one owner at any given time. Their small doggie was a wonderful playmate for our dog during the stay. Can't recommend this sitter enough.
Denise was awesome! This was my first time using a home stay. Not once did I think of my dogs and feel sorry for them being in a kennel! Denise sent me pictures, texts and videos. Denise and her husband are dog people! I wouldn't hesitate to use them again....never again will my dogs stay in a kennel. Thanks, Denise!

Schedule
My husband and I are retired and so are around home a lot, yet we are active and love to take walks and snuggle and play with the dogs!

I have a five foot fenced in back yard. Dogs are welcome anywhere in our house including our bed. Our Havenese sleeps with us and yours is welcome too!

A typical day
We have a lovely neighborhood to go for walks in. We will play doggie enriching games in our house. Between me and my husband your dogs will rarely go more than an hour or two without being cared for. We like to take pictures too and send them to you so you can see how well they are doing!
