SO MUCH LOVE FOR DOGS
I grew up with cats and dogs and as an adult I always owned several pets. My husband and I bred pugs many years ago. I was a co-ordinator of the St. John Ambulance Therapy Dogs program in Mississauga for about 5 years and was awarded with the Priority Vote of Thanks and other awards. I assisted in performing dog evaluations for the program. I have a lot of experience with dogs and love them all with no exception. I treat them all as I would my own and that’s pretty spoiled, Dogs will show you how much they love coming to our home by their wagging tail and other signs. We have been doing in home dog sitting for approximately 10 years. We have lost both our last pugs recently at the age of 14 and I always look forward to spending time with other peoples dogs since I no longer have my own. Dogs do love us as if we are their grand parents.

Very knowledgable, caring dog lover. Provided excellent care for our German Shepherd who had never been boarded before. Received daily updates including photos which gave us total piece of mind. Would highly recommend.
Jake and Bailey really enjoyed their time with Denise. We appreciated the many updates throughout the day and felt at ease because it was obvious that they were being well cared for.
Denise was very patient with Chocy. There were counter surfing issues, which Denise said she handled as best as she could. Chocy was a handful, and Denise did her best to control her. But one thing that I was concerned about was Denise's profile, which stated there were no pets at home. She actually had two of her own and sat a third one. Chocy is a dog that can't be in a house with other dogs. Overall, Denise did the best she could with everything that was involved.
AMAZING!! Max and Nelson feel very comfortable with Denise. She is wonderful with them. Thank you again.

Schedule
All dogs we have looked after are loved and they know it. With the love I have for dogs and owning my own for all my life till very recently a routine with other peoples dogs is not difficult and all dogs are a pleasure to have. I do not work full time and my husband is retired. If there’s ever a time one or two of us are not home it’s for a very short time like one to three hours and only if the dog we are watching can be left for a short time. Leaving your pet for a short time may not even happen and if it does it’s very rare. Most of the time we are both home or one of us is to watch your dog.

We have a fenced yard and never leave other peoples dogs unattended while outside. We have play time, walks and snuggle time. Lots of space inside house for them to roam the house along with us. If your dog is not crate trained we will not crate them. If they are crate trained we would prefer to crate them. We try to keep their day as close to what they are used to in their own home. If you don’t give them people food then we wouldn’t give them people food. We keep a close eye on the dogs we take care off. We have taken care of dogs who suffered from seizures. Our male pug had the odd seizure and our own female pug who lived until after her 14 birthday was diabetic for 2 1/2 years and we administered two needles per day so that is nothing new for my husband or I. We don’t mind dogs who need special care.
A typical day
We have a large fenced in yard and can play ball for a long time if that’s what your dog likes to do. We live on a quiet dead end street and it’s great for taking dogs for walks and we hardly ever see cars while taking a walk with dogs. We have lots of dog toys here from our previous dogs but always recommend people bring at least a couple of their dogs own favourite toys. I will send you daily reports and or pictures of your dog in our care. People love this!
