I work remotely for most of the week and so am available to care for your dog during my flexible lunch break or before or after work. I can also sit during the week.

A typical day
I look after pets in their own home where they feel most comfortable. For dogs, this may include short walks in nearby safe areas, a bit of play such as fetch if they enjoy it, or simply providing company and routine care. I adapt activities to each pet’s needs and energy levels, always keeping things calm and familiar for them.

Thanks for checking out my profile! I'm Denise, an animal enthusiast with practical and academic experience of animal care. I have eight years experience as a pet sitter and walker in Liverpool with 17 regular dogs, as well as cats and other animals. I have a great love for all animals, but particularly dogs as I grew up around them. I really enjoy looking after them and always make a great deal of effort to be sure they are happy and content. I have a lot of dog care experience, both from previous pets and clients, with numerous breeds including german shepards, great danes, mastiffs, vizslas, bulldogs, frenchies, fox terriers, staffies, yorkies, labradors, lurchers, dachshunds and collies. As well as practical experience, I also have related qualifications: a first class BSc in Zoology with Herpetology, MScRes in Zoology, higher distinctions and distinctions in Level 3 Pet First Aid and CPR, Animal Care, Animal Psychology, Dog Grooming and Wildlife Rescue and Rehabilitation. As well as the insurance included through Rover, I also have pet business insurance. I am unable to offer pet boarding, but can pet sit at your home if needed. To be able to look after your pet and give them all the attention and fuss they deserve would be a pleasure.

Denise took the dogs for a walk to build relationship ahead of sitting - this was a great way to build rapport especially as Lylah can be anxious around strangers Excellent communication around booking and her approach to both dogs was perfect - couldn’t recommend her enough for anyone looking for doggy care
Denise was amazing, would absolutely recommend her to anyone who wants peace of mind their fur babies are being loved and well cared for. She sent photos and regular updates on what they were up to which was brilliant. Couldn’t have asked for a better 1st time experience with a house/pet minder company.
