I’ve been using Rover to take care of different sized dogs (from small to large ones) since 2017. We did housesitting up to 2 weeks at a time and I dog walked frequently. It was mostly through my roommate’s account back when I was in school, and I stopped after school to focus on my career. Now that my partner and I have a podengo-terrier, we started using Rover as dog parents. It made me realize how much I missed meeting other dogs! I have been housesitting and dropping in for various families in the past 5 years, and recently started accepting dog boarding request since our dog Kuki is now older. My partner Iya works from home, while I work part-time as a healthcare provider. Kuki can be anxious around other dogs, so we will set up meet and greet before booking to ensure we are a good fit.

Denise is fantastic! We have relied on Denise many times now and she consistently does a great job. She’s smart, great with and knowledgeable about pets, thinks outside the box, and reliable because of those reasons and more. I recently took a trip where I had little to no phone coverage, and I knew I could count on her to take care of any issues that arose if she was not able to reach me. I look forward to relying on Denise again.
Denise was amazing with my pups Mio and baby puppy Mira! She handled two dogs well and was very flexible with scheduling. She house sat for me when I had to work overnight and sent me lots of pictures to get me through the night 😊 would 100% recommend.
Denise took good care of our dogs. She communicated well and also updated with photos daily.

Schedule
I work part-time as a healthcare worker in hospitals in the area. My schedule changes from week to week. On days I work, I am not available between 7-5pm, but can take care of your pet before and after. For house sitting bookings that last for a few days, my partner can help out during the day if I have work and your pet needs more attention during the day. My partner works from home, and can care for dogs we board whenever I’m at work! We go on walks in the neighborhood frequently, and also our apartment complex has a shared patio we sometimes hang out on for sunshine and fetch.

When I care for your dog, I will take him/her on long walks and spend time cuddling and playing fetch with him/her, depending on his/her activity level! Please let me know what they like to do and their preferences. I will also follow your parenting preferences around the house while you are away, and also when we take care of your fur babies in our home.

A typical day
My apartment is in a quiet neighborhood in Burlingame, located close to both downtown Broadway and Burlingame, as well as beautiful Hillsborough that is perfect for dog walking! There is also a few beautiful parks nearby where I can take your dog to play fetch and run around.
