Safety-I do mandatory require a 2 lead policy when walking. I will use your leash and then a slip lead to prevent escape. I will allow pets to be kept in our home. We have 2 small dachshunds that are exceptional with other dogs as my family fosters many dogs. But I would never mix them when dog sitting in my home as a business. I have a secure basement area with kennels where we place our boys when we rotate foster pets in and out and we are giving other pets home life attention. We have a chain link fence but I would never leave a client dog out alone in it. They would also still need to be on a leash in the fence unless you are comfortable you pet will not try to escape. I am extremely cautious-I would use the same precautions as I would a veterinary patient. When I am at your home I will follow all if your safety precautions and probably add my own .

Information Deneen T. would like to know about your pet
I like to have a "Day in the Life of" your pet. Describe what their day usually entails. Are they a Netflix and chill or a triathlete or somewhere in between? ? Do they enjoy fetch and play time? Do they have a normal exercise routine? How long are they normally left alone during the day? Are they anxious when alone?
A typical day
When staying in our home, we would go for a walk in our town. We have a nice quiet cemetery that is very close. If your pet enjoys car rides we would go to the walking path at Matherville Lake when the weather is nice. Please bring toys your pet enjoys just in case the weather doesn't cooperate.

Pet care experience
I am a CVT-certified veterinary technician of 30 years. I don't want to brag but most pets take to me quickly! Some people in my field just have a special way with animals and I like to think I have that touch. I can provide advanced medical care for pets that may need insulin injections or medications. I also can just provide lots of lovins, walks, potty breaks, and attention while you are gone. When your pup comes and stays with me my hope is that they feel at home and have minimal stress while you are away. If I provide in home care, my hope is that your pup will look at me as the fun aunt who comes over to play and not even realize you were gone!

She’s wonderful
Deneen is wonderful!! Loves dogs and the connect with her!! Don’t hesitate, if you need someone Deneen will not disappoint.

Very nice person to work with and excellent with dogs! Excellent communication from start to finish. Clean home and nice big fenced back yard. Felt very safe leaving my daughter with Deneen and her family. She sent great pictures!! Definitely will use her again in the future.
As a certified vet tech of 25+ years, I can’t think of anyone better to watch my four legged family member. I know my dog is great care and I trust Deneen to use her veterinary background to catch any medical issues my dog may have during her stay. I also have seen Deneen work with all different types of cats and dogs with varying temperaments. She takes the time to earn each animals trust with the upmost of patience and love. It’s never easy to leave our pup but we know she is in great hands with Deneen.
