Teens (ages 16 and 14) are home most days. Mama is at the office all day. We walk dogs mornings and evenings, and they can be in the fenced yard to play or if they need to go.

We have a fully fenced yard with grass and trees. There are plenty of squirrels in the yard that interest many dogs. We also have a screen porch so dogs can lay outside or on the porch as long as they like.

We can take care of all kinds of dogs. We have three floors in the house, but if dogs prefer, they don't have to climb stairs and can stay on the main floor.
A typical day
Lots of play and attention, several walks, and access to a grassy, fenced yard. My kids LOVE dogs. They will give yours plenty of attention!

Summer 2026 - Teens (ages 16 and 14) are home most days, I am at the office most days - so someone is usually home at least for the majority of the day. We LOVE dogs! We are so happy to care for your pup just as you do. We love walking and being outdoors, so we are a perfect fit for active dogs. We would be honored to give your dog the care and attention they need while you are away. We are a family of three (Mama, and two kids ages 14 and 16). The kids love dogs. Your pup will not be lonely! We've taken care of all kinds of dogs and can't wait to meet and care for yours. We have a finished basement and two other floors, so there is plenty of indoor room. We’d love to hear from you and have your dog stay with us!

Dena and her boys did a wonderful job taking care of my 9 year old Saint Bernard. He just started having some hip problems and they were very attentive to his hips as well as the heat. Chewie looked so happy in all the pictures I received from Dena daily. I was most definitely put at ease leaving for 5 days knowing Chewie was in the best and most loving care possible. Will definitely be booking again when needed! Thank you!
Dena was great!! We had another rover cancel on us last minute on a holiday weekend and Dena saved the day! Our two large dogs seemed very at home with her!
Ruby had a great time with Dena! Will definitely use her again for other times we need coverage. Highly recommend.
Dena was a lifesaver to watch our dog on short notice over the holidays- he clearly had a wonderful time - going on walks and hikes, and having things kept similar to his regular routine. We have not really used Rover but felt so secure with our dog in her care - would highly recommend!
