Hi!! I go by Demi btw so don’t worry about trying to spell or sound out my name lmfao! I am an all-kinds-of-animal lover (spiders are pushing it lol). I have lots of hands-on experience, especially with puppies and senior dogs. The way I love to describe house sitting is I basically become a stand in for you! Which means I am always willing to go above and beyond to keep your dog happy, whether that’s playtime, long walks, or a calm, relaxed day. I’ve also had great experience with reactive dogs (my uncle’s could only be walked by me), as well as high-energy breeds and I equally love a good couch potato. I can crate when needed, let them out regularly, and walk them up to three times a day. I love walking and often go on longer ones so it’s great to be able to take a buddy out with me! After each walk, I make sure they’re dried off (and washed if needed) followed by a good brush and time to relax in a warm, comfortable space. I’m mindful around feeding and exercise, waiting before and after meals for an hour as to not cause stomach problems, and I don’t overdo treats. I’m also happy to provide mental stimulation, such as games or agility-style activities or i can simply take the pupper for longer walks to burn off energy. I’m at home most of the time (only on site 3-4 days a week, 6hrs max at a time), so your pet will have plenty of attention throughout the day. I keep in regular contact with owners, follow all instructions carefully, and provide plenty of updates and photos. I take the time to understand each pet and their routine so they feel as comfortable as possible.
