Pet empty-nesters seeking lap lovin
Kevin and I have always had pets during our 32 years together. That includes one cat and dogs of all breeds and sizes from Labrador Retrievers to Beagles to Chihuahuas. We've managed and loved up to 4 dogs at once. We care for most of our pets from puppy-hood to the weary crossing of the rainbow bridge. The only exception being an adult pet (lab-mix) that we adopted after the passing of an elderly relative. We have even taken our pets on a “dog vacation” where we travel to metro areas like Dallas and visit all the swank dog parks. Yes, we are ‘those pet people’. Since we've retired and since our last little love crossed the rainbow bridge last year, we thought we'd open our home to others seeking a temporary haven for their four-legged loved ones by opening our home during times we are not traveling.

We had such a wonderful experience with our pet sitters, Delinda and Kevin! They were incredibly caring and attentive, and we truly felt comfortable knowing Olivia was in the best hands while we were away. We received daily pictures and updates, which gave us so much peace of mind and made it easy to see how happy and well cared for she was. Highly recommend to anyone looking for trustworthy, compassionate pet care!
Delinda and Kevin were great with our little princess Biscuit! They played with her,gave her lots of snuggles and sent pictures throughout the stay.

I can’t recommend Delinda as a pet-caregiver highly enough. I have known her to be a warm, caring person and a reliable and caring pet caregiver for close to 20 years. As a former pet parent of multiple dogs, Delinda brings a level of experience, intuition, and genuine love for animals that you simply can’t teach. She gave nurturing care and attention to her own fur babies and provided the same love and focus to my 7-month spirited and inquisitive puppy, Judy. I knew Judy was in the best possible hands the entire time she spent in Delinda's care. What truly sets Delinda apart is the way she cares for every pet as if they are her own. Delinda provided multiple updates to my husband and me each day Judy spent with her (without our asking for it). We had complete peace of mind knowing Judy was not only well-fed and exercised, but also safe, calm, and happy while we were away. Judy was noticeably very at ease and comfortable when he picked her up at the end of her and Delinda's time together. Delinda combines professionalism, thoughtful care, and kindness seamlessly for all pets in her care. I would leave our Judy in Delinda's care again in a heartbeat and I recommend her to anyone looking for truly exceptional pet care.
Delinda is the person you want looking after your pets. She is warm and friendly, responsible, and responsive. I have watched her pets in the past when she has needed a caregiver and I can tell you her standards for pet care are the highest. I have also worked with Delinda and know that her professionalism is second to none. You won't find a better pet sitter!

Programa
I am retired and my husband will be in a few months and currently works from home. Our children and grandchildren are distant so we travel for and with them. Presently, my only work is volunteer opportunities so there's no clock to punch.

Our home is perfectly suited for dogs though we did foster a couple of cats for nearly a year. We live in a small, gated community in a cul-de-sac. We have a secure and picturesque backyard, a pet door that supports pets up to 110 lbs and floors that are forgiving of mishaps. Gotta love tile! Of course, not all pets know how to use a pet door so, since there is almost always someone home, we can let them out as needed. We didn't need to crate-train our pets but we have plenty of room in our home for crates if needed. We are experienced with and fully respect food constraints and medical requirements. The bottom line is that we want to treat your pet with the same love and dignity they get at home.
Un día normal
Our backyard is a great place to play for both pets and children. Lots of shrubs to explore. We are happy to play fetch to exhaustion and love going on walks through the neighborhood. Also happy to play with any toys or fun elements brought with the pet.
