Safety, trust & environment

I work with you to try and keep your pet on a similar schedule to what they are use to, this way I can make them as happy as possible. I always make sure to keep my eyes on them, and keep them on a short leash so they don’t get out of sight. While I want them to have fun, safety is my number one priority, always.

Information Delen P. would like to know about your pet

I want to know them like you’d tell a baby sitter about a kid. These are living beings with emotions and personalities. Tell me their favorite games to play, their favorite route to walk, what songs make them sing, or movies they love to cuddle up and watch. I want them to have the best time with this. This is for their benefit, as much as it is a benefit for you. They should enjoy their day If you have a dog who is a puppy, and isn’t trained/doesn’t know their name, and is more of a handful than normal, or, have a disabled/senior animal who requires round the clock care, and needs me to help them walk, cook them fresh meals, etc, I do charge an additional $10 a night for overnights. Because of the stress of these two situations, unfortunately I need to charge more for my mental and physical health

A typical day

A typical day will more or less look like what they are use to. We’ll do LOTS of cuddling, go for walks/outside for bathroom breaks, get treats, play with their toys, feed them, taking pictures and videos to send to you, establishing training they already know, etc. I want them to be mentally stimulated, as well as physically, and I want them to have a fun day. It should be like the “fun aunt” comes over. They get extra love and attention, and because we’ll be working on training for a little bit, they’ll get some treats out of it (broken up of course so they don’t get to many treats, or gain weight) Included in pricing- One on one time with your pet Going for a walk Fetch/playtime Snuggle time Pictures everyday, multiple times a day, along with updates on how they’re doing Giving them any medication they may need (I’m not a vet, nor am I trained in medicine, but I can give them basics, just have to show me how you do it) Your pet/s get to stay in their home so they avoid stress, avoid getting hurt/sick being around other animals at a kennel, and someone is with them at all times Will give them kongs/treats Can set up puzzle time/simple training to reinforce what they already know, this way they can get mental stimulation, along with physical stimulation Getting mail Cleaning litter boxes/cages/whatever home the animal lives in/potty’s in Having peace of mind knowing someone is home, and lowering the chances of a break in while you aren’t home

Pet care experience

I love animals of all sizes, cats and dogs, mice or rats, birds, etc. I’ve even had the pleasure of taking care of sugar gliders at one point. I believe animals should have one on one care, in their own homes, and their humans shouldn’t have to pay an arm and a leg for it. It gives your animals less stress to be in a familiar environment, and you know they are getting the attention they deserve Also, I ESPECIALLY love “bully” breeds. They’re just a bunch of big babies, and I hate the stigma around them I absolutely REQUIRE a meet and greet with you and any dog you’d like me to take care of, and will not go over to your home until we have all met. I’ve been attacked by a few dogs, and for my safety, I just won’t take that risk

Delen was everything I had hoped for in a pet sitter. She was kind, attentive, loving, and responsible with my animals!! I am always worried when I travel away from my furbabies and this go around I was able to be fully present and not have to worry about them at all. She took my dog on play dates, walks around town, the dog park and hung out with him at the house way more than I had expected anyone to. If you want someone watching your furbabies that you can 100% trust, book Delen. She’s a true professional but someone also very personable. Thank you Delen!!!

Delen was absolutely wonderful from start to finish. She sent pictures of our puppy throughout the day and made all our worries disappear. We highly recommend her.

Delen is amazing. She has sat twice at my house and has not only done an exceptional job taking care of my dog but I also trust her completely with my house. She sends lots of videos and plays with him to tire him out.
