I have experience taking care of animals professionally in a boarding setting and within a vet clinic (as a technician, not a doctor). I have experience handling and caring for more ‘opinionated’ patients/animals. From dogs with stranger danger or ‘spicy’ cats. I have experience caring for diabetic and higher needs animals and particularly am rewarded by caring for older fur babies, cat and dog. I have a deep care for all animals and always want to provide the best care possible. I work from home and am able to bring my work wherever I am, so I can stay with animals who cannot be left alone for long periods of time. I take care to build rapport with animals and respect their communication, going slow and reading body language in order to understand their boundaries and provide the best care possible. I look forward to providing quality and compassionate care to your furry family members.

I can follow most instructions or requests within reason to keep your pet on their typical routine. I can follow medication routines, feeding routines and care needs such as crating, enrichment and training reinforcement (manners, already taught commands etc). I can clean litter boxes once per day.

Delaney is a Lancaster native who is wonderful with cats and senior dogs . She has an extensive background in veterinary care, including experience as a vet tech through Wilson College, Neffsville Veterinary, and other local practices. She’s incredibly kind, compassionate, and knowledgeable, and since she works remotely, she’s also very available and flexible. Whether you need drop-in visits or overnight care, I’d absolutely trust her with my fur babies!
Delaney is one of the most compassionate and animal oriented people I have ever met. Her pets are well trained, friendly, and very cared for. She is also very knowledgeable on animal care. I cant think of anyone better to watch over your furry family!
Delaney is an absolutely outstanding pet sitter. She not only is kind and loving to all animals, but also has extensive knowledge of animal behavior and medicine. She has pet sat for me multiple times and I’ve always felt completely confident that she is giving my pets lots of attentive and affectionate care.

Schedule
I work from home and can bring my work wherever I am. This allows me to care for animals that need more frequent care/can’t be left alone for too long. I am available for drop ins on the weekends (Friday-Monday) and some weekdays depending on my schedule.
