A typical day
If the pet has any toys to play with, I enjoy play fetch or tug of war with dogs and wand with cats. Additonally, I enjoy giving pets treats to provide comfort while their parent is away. I always make sure to speak kindly to pets, respect their boundaries and remain calm to make sure they are comfortable. If I have any concerns, I will be sure to reach out to you promptly.

Pet care experience
I live in Jersey City and have open availability to walk dogs or do drop-ins for cats. I have a 2.5 year old Asian Tabby cat named Mazy, who is very playful. Additionally, I had a few dogs growing up: a dachshund named Sophie, a rat terrier named Waffles and a Gold Retriever named Zeek. I am open to big and small dogs, as I have owned both types. As a pet care provider, I have administered oral medication and have taken care of dogs with special needs (protective cones & special dietary needs). I am happy to accommodate your needs and look forward to helping you care for your pet.

This was Delaney’s second time watching our cat and she did just as amazing of a job as the first time around. Our cat loves her and we’re comfortable knowing Delaney has cats herself. Highly recommend!
Delaney watched our cat a few times while we were out of town and took the time to play with her and give her attention. Delaney is a great pet-sitter given she is also a cat-owner so we would absolutely use her again if available. Delaney followed our instructions to the “tee” and our cat loved her for it!
Was great with our dog! We had some specific instructions that she followed to the letter. 10/10 would recommend!!
Highly recommend Delaney! She was friendly, responsive, and took great care throughout. I had a change of plans, and she was super flexible and accommodating, which made everything so much easier. You can tell she genuinely cares—would absolutely book again!
