It could be argued that I prefer dogs to people most of the time with my own dog, Honey, being top of that furry list! I have been a dog (and general animal) lover as long as I can remember and I have been caring for family and friends' dogs since I was a teenager. I truly believe they are part of the family and should be treated as such. From check ins to extended stays I have always jumped at the opportunity to lend a helping hand and make sure their pups are watched and cared for as if their "parents" never left. In those twenty-plus years I have cared for a variety of breeds and all ages from puppy to senior. As for myself, I have had the honor of owning five dogs throughout my life ranging from a new puppy to senior dogs in their final years. I am familiar and comfortable with four legged companions that have medical needs and have experience specifically with diabetic canine care. I know each dog has their own unique personality, likes, dislikes and comforts and I enjoy getting to know each and every one while building an understanding and bond with them!
