I have a fenced, large yard with my current 11 year old pittie and red eared slider turtle in the home. My home is well cared for and I do my best to ensure no items are left on the floor as I dog sit fur babies who love to eat random things off the floor!

A typical day
I really love caring for senior dogs! A typical day for my senior pittie (when I’m not working) is breakfast at 6am (she’s my alarm clock). I have her on the farmers dog fresh food and also mix in some pumpkin into her food. Then we head to the backyard for her potty break and some morning sniffies. She then takes a nap for about 2-3 hours and then I take her on a walk around the neighborhood depending on how her joints are feeling that day. Later in the day I give her some mental stimulation by putting some fresh fruits/veggies into a lick mat for her. Then it’s dinner and night time medications in a pill pocket. My pittie loves snuggles and wines to be as close to me as much as possible, so of course I give her all the love and snuggles! My pug that I care for is younger (going to be 5 years old) and has much more energy! She has a similar routine but needs a little bit more stimulation since she’s younger!

I’m a registered nurse who works part-time looking to spend more time caring for all the fur babies ❤️I have an 11 year old pitbull who has osteoarthritis and severe allergies. Her daily care routine is extensive and has given me plenty of experience. I love to study dog behavior to ensure they are comfortable and to minimize any negative stress. Some of the other animals in my life that I care for - 4 year old pug, 11 year old chihuahua mix and 14 year old tuxedo cat. I also have a red eared slider turtle. My goal is to always provide safe, loving, customized care to all animals!

We loved having Deja do the check ins with our dogs. She was very nice and great with the dogs. She communicated & shared pictures! The dogs warmed up to her quickly the first time she came over to meet them. We will definitely reach out again next time we need a check in!
You couldn’t find a more attentive pet caregiver than Deja. She has taken care of my dog, Esme numerous times. Deja is not only sweet and kind, but she truly acts as an advocate for Esme and the pets in her care. I trust her completely and I know she’ll continue to provide the same loving care to any pet she looks after.
