Hi, I'm Deirdre! I have several years of hands-on experience with dogs through paid and volunteer work at the Washington Humane Society and Michigan Humane Society, including time as an Animal Care and Spay Clinic Support Technician. I've loved dogs my whole life and currently share my home with Ruthie, my sweet 9 year old rescued beagle who enjoys meeting other well-behaved dogs. I'm available for dog walking and sitting. Your pup will be in caring, experienced hands — I look forward to meeting them!

I was able to do a really thorough meet and greet with Deirdre and her very adorable puggle Mia. Both pups got along great, and it was nice to know that Dempsey would have 2 friends keeping her company while I was out of town! When I picked up my pup after a 4 night stay, she was happy and didn't even seem like she missed me! Deirdre also let me know that that she saw demps shake her ears several times, which may indicate an ear infection- really appreciated the heads up! Book Deirdre!!
Deirdre is by far the best dog sitter I have ever known. She ran a dog walking/sitting company when she lived in Virginia and she adored all of the companion animals that she looked after. She loves dogs like she would a child. If you get to meet her at the dog park or walking her adorable puggle around the city, you'll get to see it for yourself :)
I've have been friends with Deirdre for over 20 years and she is one of the most responsible people I know. She grew up with dogs and has worked in animal care for two humane societies. She is a wonderful mom to her puggle Mia. I highly recommend her as a pet sitter.
