Although Cody no longer lives with me, caring for him gave me valuable experience understanding a cat’s routines, personality, and individual needs. I’ve also been an experienced cat and dog sitter for friends and family while they’ve been out of town. I’m comfortable following feeding schedules, providing playtime and companionship, taking dogs for walks, and making sure pets feel safe, happy, and comfortable while you’re away. I also live near a great local park that’s perfect for dog walks and getting some fresh air and exercise! I’d love to give your pup a fun, safe walk while you’re busy or away. Dehkontee came and watched my cat, Cracker, for about four to five days. Slept at the apartment to ensure he got his special diet, for he had to eat wet food twice a day for his health. He was happy and healthy when I got home.
Dehkontee was an amazing caregiver! Our dog can be a bit shy at first when meeting new people but she was so good with him! Didn’t take long at all for him to feel comfortable with her. She followed our instructions perfectly and when I checked in on them with our Furbo, it was going better than I could’ve ever hoped. She truly cared for him like her own and we couldn’t be more grateful. Highly recommend and easily would have her watch my little guy again.
DJ is kind of a dog whisperer. My dog is very excitable, but as soon as she comes through the door, she lays her hands on the dog and calms her immediately. We love DJ!
Dehkontee was amazing with our cat. She was attentive to our needs, kept everything clean, and sent consistent updates so I knew my little guy was doing good. Our baby can be picky about people, but he warmed up to Dehkontee really quickly. I’d definitely recommend her to anyone looking for someone reliable and caring to watch their cat.

Schedule
I work part-time, so I’m home most of the day and have a flexible schedule for pet care. I’m available for regular daytime check-ins, feeding, playtime, litter box care, and companionship. I can also adjust my schedule around your pet’s specific routine and needs

I live in a quiet, fairly empty apartment in St. Paul with plenty of open space. Since there isn’t much furniture or clutter, there are limited potential hazards for pets. I keep my home clean, calm, and secure so cats can safely explore, relax, and feel comfortable during their stay. There is nearby walkable park as well
