Love, Because They’re Family ❤️🐶
Hi and welcome! I’m Dee 🐾 I’m a proud fur mama to my sweet Schnauzer, Izzi. Our family was once bigger, my other Miniature Schnauzer Bux and my German Shepherd, Lance, have both crossed the rainbow bridge recently. Losing them was incredibly hard, and caring for other people’s pups has truly been a blessing during that time. It fills my heart to be there for fellow dog parents and to build meaningful bonds with my furry clients - many of whom are now my regular clients. I’ve been providing dog sitting services since 2021, and I absolutely love it. My home is a safe, loving, and structured environment where your dog is treated like family. In addition to pet care, I’m also a full-time Realtor - which actually works in your favor! My schedule is very flexible, and I intentionally structure my real estate appointments around my pet clients. That means I’m home often, can adjust throughout the day, and prioritize potty breaks, walks, playtime, and snuggles in between showings and meetings. Whether your pup needs overnight boarding, drop-ins, or energetic walks, I’m here to provide dependable, attentive, heart-centered care. I know how much trust it takes to leave your dog with someone. I treat every pet as if they were my own - with patience, safety, and lots of love. I can’t wait to meet you and your fur baby! 🐶💛

Our guy loves going to Dee’s whenever we are away. She does a great job of sending updates, which gives us peace of mind while we are away. Dee is experienced and we happily rebook with her whenever she’s available!

We had a such a great vacation knowing our dog Duke was well taken care of by Dee. We received daily video and photo updates. We liked that he got to spend time with her dogs and run around in her big backyard. Dee communicated well regarding Dukes behavior and our discipline strategy. We left her a training collar and discussed using trazadone for anxiety. It took him a bit but he seemed to learn the boundaries with her dogs once they were established. She gave medication when needed and as prescribed. Overall Duke was anxious at first being in a new environment but seemed to calm down after a few days. Dee did a great job taking time to learn Dukes personality, behavior and needs. She was patient and treated him like one of her own dogs!

Dee did a great job with Duke. We got pictures and text updates. She was responsive when I asked about how Dukes stay was going and gave us feedback. This is our first time using Rover and we had a great overall experience. I would recommend Dee to others!

Thank you again for taking such good care of Indy and Minnie. We love Dee. She is wonderful with our dogs, especially our senior guy who can be trying at times. They love to go to her house. She is very responsive and sends daily updates to us. She takes extra care and treats our pups like they are her own. We use her time and time again!

Sent pictures throughout the day! Great experience!

Dee was super easy to work with and very responsive to txts. We had a meet and greet and everything went great with her taking care of our two cats. We got daily updates, and she even swept up the floor as the cats are messy and get litter everywhere. Will definitely book her again.

EXPERIENCE I’ve been doing Rover for over 5 years, but have been around animals my whole life, and with dogs for over 15 years. I love everything dog related, psychology, training, animal behavior and I had 2 of my 3 pups receive AKC CGC certificates (canine good citizen) and Izzi is on the way to becoming a therapy dog so we can visit nursing homes and children’s hospitals to spread more puppy love. I have experience with different kinds of breeds from sweet and gentle Labradoodles, Spaniels, and Goldens to strong and feisty Pitbulls, Dobermans, and Rottweilers. All shapes and sizes of pups are welcome as long as there is no history of separation anxiety and aggressive behavior towards humans or animals. SCHEDULE I am a full time Realtor and make my own schedule, which makes me fully available for boarding, drop ins and walks during the week and most weekends. BOARDING ACCOMMODATIONS We welcome puppies at any age as long as they are crate-trained / housebroken. Shorter visits can be accommodated for puppies still in the process of being housebroken. PLEASE NOTE: There will be an additional $10 charge per day for the pups that aren’t crate-trained/housebroken to offset the cost of cleaning and supplies when they have accidents. (Standard rate $55 per night, non-housebroken pups $65 per night).

Home characteristics
Safety, trust & environment
BOARDING SAFETY We prefer to meet and greet at our local park - Brecksville Reservation, or Mejier Park in Seven Hills to make sure your pups and my pups are a mutual fit. We want all our four-legged guests to feel safe and comfortable with our pack. The safety of your and my pups is my #1 priority, so for that, we have a fenced-in yard, multiple doors/gates, and crates to accommodate successful integration and make sure it’s a smooth transition into a “home away from home”. I also ask that your pup has all their vaccines and flea/tick prevention, an updated address and phone number, and if they have a microchip - make sure it’s registered as well. IMMUNIZATIONS To keep all the pups protected, the following vaccinations are required: Rabies, DAPP (a.k.a. DHPP - Distemper, Adenovirus type 1 (Hepatitis), Adenovirus type 2 (respiratory), Parainfluenza and Parvovirus), Bordetella, Leptospirosis, Canine Influenza. It ideally needs to be completed yearly or if never had been vaccinated before - at least 2-3 weeks prior to being boarded. (So the immunization fully kicks in prior to your pup’s boarding and you can watch for adverse reactions in your pup.) ACTIVITIES As far as activities - we have a large fenced-in backyard where pups can stretch their legs and run around in the grass, I love watching them do zoomies or play tag with each other. We also frequent the local park, my parent's home, and dog-friendly stores like Home Depot. Your pup goes where I go, just like mine would! However, for the times when I need to leave my home without them, I do ask that your pup is crate trained so I can safely leave them in it. Thank you so much for checking in, and we are looking forward to hosting your pup!

A typical day
While in our care your pup will get stimulated physically and mentally. We'll play a bunch of games, check out all the new smells in my quiet neighborhood with plenty of wide and safe sidewalks, and explore a big park (Brecksville Reservation) not far from my house. We may even try to practice learning some new tricks!
