My husband and I are both retired so we are home most days. When we do have to be away, our dog has free roam of the house, but will go in a crate if necessary.

It would also be helpful to know what commands are known and how well your dog comes when called. Any information you can share that will make your pup more comfortable while in our care will be appreciated. Also feel free to bring a special toy or blanket that might be a reminder of home so their stay is as stress free as possible.
A typical day
We live on over 5 acres so there is plenty of room to run and play. We have balls to fetch and ropes to tug. We also live on a quiet street so walks are safe and easy to do.

Pet care experience
I have had a dog for most of the last 40+ years. They have all been trained to follow basic commands and my current dog even rings a bell when she needs to go outside. I have gotten all of them (mostly rescues) as puppies or juveniles and have been with many of them through their senior years. I often keep my "granddogs" and Bailey loves having them to play with. We've had other dogs visit and she's gotten along well with all of them.
