I would 100% NOT recommend Dee Dee, based on our experience. We booked her to stay in our home and care for our dogs while we were out of state. At approximately 10 p.m., she left the house and ended the booking without any prior communication, no phone call, no text, no email. We were suddenly left out of state with no one caring for our fur babies and had to scramble to find emergency neighbor coverage, ultimately cutting our trip short and arranging a flight home. When you entrust someone with the care of your animals and home while you are away, you need to know you can trust them not to recklessly and purposely neglect your animals. This makes sense now, as Dee Dee does not have any animals of her own. (Red Flag) 100% do NOT recommend Dee Dee as a pet or house sitter.
It is so clear our Ellie was cared for with genuine love and attention the entire time we were away. Dee Dee kept us well‑informed with updates that gave us total peace of mind, We can tell Ellie felt safe, happy, and completely at home. We’re incredibly thankful—and we’ve already booked her for our next trip because she’s truly amazing.
Dee Dee made me feel confident that she understood what needed to be done during her stay here. I have never left someone I don’t know in charge of my house so I was very nervous. I came home to happy animals and a clean house. She even stripped her bed and washed the sheets!
She was lovely and able to do a meet and greet. Unfortunately, I received a cancelation for the second walk less than 24 hours before the scheduled walk.
Dee Dee was excellent! She immediately connected with Cookie and her follow-through on walking, feeding, etc. She left everything in the house in order -- as if no one was here while we were away. Should we have the need in the future, Dee Dee would be our first choice. Lynn and Howard
