I have owned a variety of pets myself, as well as worked in a professional setting with dogs and cats. Over my life, I’ve looked after my own dog as well as animals like cats, birds, reptiles, and small animals. I’ve done an internship where I worked professionally with reptiles and birds of prey, as well as held a summer job at a Doggie Vacation boarding place where I met over a hundred different dogs. My responsibilities there were to bathe, walk, and care for the dogs, including following special dietary restrictions as well as administering medication.

I have experience working with dogs and cats in various settings, including kennel work, home work, and outside work. I have also assisted in basic training commands and reinforcing home training.

Dee Dee was a huge help taking care of our older pup! She was patient and sweet, gave him his meds, and dealt with all his little anxiety issues with ease. So thankful she could be there for us!

Schedule
I am a recent graduate with a bachelors of science in biology. I don’t currently have any dogs or cats of my own, but I do have a pet tortoise who I hang out with all the time! I currently hold a position at the Philadelphia Zoo, talking about our more exotic furry friends.
