The Boling Hotel for Dogs
We are a family that LOVES dogs and have been caring for our own and our friends' dogs for more than a decade. Life is good for dogs at our house. We have a big backyard and we allow dogs on the furniture - laps preferred! Both adults in the home work but between working from home some of the time, alternating schedules, and a college student n the house, someone is home much of the day. All guests are treated like family. We will care for 3-4 dogs at a time - but that is dependent on the dogs' personalities. Please do not request same-day bookings. Meet-n-greets for new dogs are required and generally take place on the weekend but there is flexibility. We do not accept un-neutered male dogs. Why I love dog sitting I've been a dog lover for as long as I can remember, and I've had dogs almost all of my life with the exception of short grieving periods in between. Life just doesn't seem right without dogs around. Meet my pets Marshall is blue tick mix rescued from the streets. He's shy and reserved, but loves other dogs. Jasper is a street rescue who adopted us. He is a terrier mix and is extremely outgoing and little bossy. About my yard We have a large fenced in backyard. My experience administering medication I am experienced with medications but request that meds be organized in a daily pill case with clear instructions.

Dee is a wonderful host for our pup! They are very engaging, provide lots of pictures, and Coda always comes home tired, which tells me he’s had a great time on his vacation!
Dee and her family are so sweet and loving. This is the second time I’ve boarded my dog, Bella, with them. Bella loves going. And I have no worries that she’s been taken care of when I’m away. Thanks Dee!!

Schedule
I work full-time, Randy works part-time, our adult son Dylan goes to school and works. Dogs are rarely alone more than 4 hours at a time. Guests fit into our daily family schedule with our own dog. They are treated like one of the family.

We have a fenced-in yard and dogs are rarely in the yard for any extended period of time. We generally take no more than 4 dogs at a time. Some dogs require smaller groups, and we'll cut that down for regular clients. We have many, many repeat clients.
Pets
A typical day
Most dogs are exercised in the backyard with some exception. Your dog's sleeping arrangement Pretty much wherever he/she wants to (provided s/he is housebroken and not destructive)! We allow pets on the furniture and it's not uncommon for guest dogs to share the bed with us. Dogs may bring their own bed with the understanding that they may not be the only dog that uses it. Not all dogs treat beds as well as others. Time I'll spend with your dog We're fortunate to have mixed schedules. My husband works part time just down the street, so he is often home on weekdays and usually comes home for lunch. We also have a college student who is here a lot of the time. We are all home most evenings. We LOVE laptime with our dog friends! Your dogs will be incorporated into our usual home routines.

- We do not accept un-neutered male dogs, and all dogs must be friendly with other dogs and with people. Please let us know if your dog has any bad habits to be aware of, especially ones you don't want us to encourage! Is he/she a runner who is just looking for an excuse to slip out? We specialize in huskies because we've had one, but we welcome all friendly dogs! I would also like to know what your dog's typical experience is in their home. Are they typically crate-trained or do they roam free? Are they destructive? Do they have separation anxiety? Anything that will help us to show your dog a positive experience in our home while you are away.
