Pugs n Pals. Your dogs 2nd Home
From the age of 16 I helped out my sister walk her dog and help look after him when she was at work or went on holiday he would live at our family home until they were back. My wife has had dogs around her all her life so has always been used to looking after them. Your dog will be in the hands of a family of dogs lovers who always give your pet plenty or care and attention and treated like one of the family. We also have two young daughters who absolutely adore dogs aswell and love to play with them and give them plenty of love and attention

Great service from Declan, easy to contact, very accommodating, lovely family who clearly love dogs, lots of pictures sent during the boarding, would happily book again!
Our pugs Jack and Victor absolutely love Declan and his family. It was their third time with them. They are very well looked after and especially they have plenty of fun. They are best friends with their pug Kovu and can’t wait to spend their next holiday with him all over again.
Declan has had Hugo on 2 separate occasions now and it certainly won’t be his last! Hugo has the best time and is so well looked after, Declan provides updates and photos throughout Hugo’s stay which puts our minds at ease that he’s in good hands! 😊
Id give 10 stars if I could. After becoming unwell and stuck declans family was able to take my wee guy for a week last minute and was given updates videos and pictures daily that kept me going though think my boy exhausted the other dogs. Just got him home and can't thank this family enough. Would HIGHLY recommend and a huge thank you again it's meant a lot knowing he was well cared for 😊
Jack and Victor had an amazing time with Declan and his family. It’s their second time with them. They ve been given so much attention and love, they will definitely be going back next time again.
Declan, Steph and their lovely girls made Lily feel so at home that I was instantly put at ease leaving Lily for the first time ever. She was with them for a week and they regularly sent photos and updates so that I knew she was settling and eventually eating. Steph even fed Lily by hand so that she would relax. They were so flexible with drop off/pick up times that resulted in less stress. I would highly recommend this sitter and if I need Lily looked after again I would not hesitate to contact Declan again.

Schedule
Me and my wife both work full time and we have 2 girls who absolutely adore Kovu and every other dog they come across they believe should be coming home with them aswell. Kovu gets his 2/3 walks per day. My wife is currently off work just now so your dog will have plenty care and attention all day

Kovu has a great little routine going which keeps him as happy as can be. I take him his first morning walk around 06:00 then back for his breakfast before I head to work and my partner lets him around the garden again roughly about 07:45 just for another trot around the garden and a couple of treats. When I’m home from work with the girls I let him around the garden again and when my partner gets home from work we either go a family walk or I take him a walk myself. After the girls are down for the night I take Kovu another quick walk at about 8pm after his dinner and then before I go to bed just let him trot around the garden again and giving him some treats. When having visitors our Pug Kovu is always very playful upon arrival and loves meeting new friends. After a while he calms down because he tires himself out. He’s also very good at adapting to all dogs energy levels, if they want to play he’ll play but if the just want to relax he’ll relax aswell. Both of our gardens are fenced off with a 4ft fence at the front and a 6ft fence around the back. Our girls are also not short in showing each dog loving care and attention whether it be cosy in bed/sofa or just playing with them. Your dog will be family throughout their stay

A typical day
We just like to go walks/trips as a family to be honest. Our dog Kovu enjoys his walks and being outdoors (only if it’s dry), he’s not a fan of the rain. When caring for other dogs we do what we can to keep them happy from walks around where we live to a day out to the beach depending on the weather. Again my family give them plenty of attention.
