I work as a full time teacher so during the school year I would serve best as a weekend sitter. However, I am available during the week as well for most holidays and most of the summer.

I have a one bedroom apartment which helps me to know where and what your pet is doing almost all of the time. I live in an area that has lots of nature intact and is very dog friendly. There are two dog friendly “tennis courts” available to allow young and high energy dogs run off leash to catch a ball, frisbee or stick or play with other dog friendly pups. For house sitting stays, I am flexible and can accommodate most anyone’s unique set up and pet needs. One thing to note is that I am currently in the process of adopting my six year old niece who would accompany me for house sitting.

I have no breed preferences. I love most any animal. I usually like to know what basic commands your baby knows, his or her background, outstanding habits, energy and food/ behavior restrictions. I like to know any information that will help me make you and your pet feel and be safe, secure and happy.
A typical day
I love to take dogs on walks. My neighborhood has lots of trees and is quite dog friendly. I also have an enclosed tennis court where I can allow younger or more high energy dogs space to chase a ball or stick and just romp around off leash. I enjoy and provide lots of play, “doggy puzzles”, some appropriate socialization, basic dog training, and LOTS of care, and personal attention.

I love just animals! Growing up we always had pets ranging from turtles, cats, fish, dogs, birds and horses. Animals have always been part of my life, and I've learned so much from them. I had a beloved mini-dachshund for six years and was always a bit of a worry wort when someone watched my pup. I wanted to know she was always safe, happy and well-cared for. So, after being a reliable dog-sitter for a fellow teacher for several years I realized providing a service like this would allow me to reconnect with animals while earning extra money and also serving families with excellent care for their furry family members. I love walking, playing and snuggling with dogs, cats and just about any critter of all sizes and ages, and I would love to make your pet be as safe, happy and well-cared for as I expected mine to be.

Deby took such great care of my Chiweenie during our spring break! I know he loved all the cuddles, snuggles, and sun bathing on her beautiful wooded and private back porch. She sent cute pictures and video of outdoor play time and I’m so grateful for her care!
Deby was tremendous. We were in town for a weekend and at the last minute learned we would need a sitter for our terrier with mobility problems. Deby replied right away and was able to take care of our dog on just 2 hours notice. She was kind and understanding of our dog’s special needs. Communication was great and she sent frequent updates, photos and videos which put our minds at ease. Our little guy is pretty nervous and she did an amazing job making him comfortable. She was so good with him that we asked her to sit with him again the next day. He had an even better response then. I can’t say enough good things about Deby and her rates were so reasonable. I’ve recommended her to my family who live in the area.
