We have been pet owners our whole lives. We have one small, mild mannered, quiet dog-Oliver-a Japanese chin. He gets along with all dogs. We have a cat, mojo, who stays high on counters, under beds, or out on lanai. We take frequent walks in cul de sac, or let dogs hang out on screened lanai. My husband and I both participate in doing walks and care. We are usually only gone for about 2-3 hours at a time.

Schedule
Garth works from home part time. We are home quite a bit. If we leave the pets, we aren’t gone for more than 4 hours.
Where your pet will stay

Safety, trust & environment
We go on frequent walks and let them go out on the lanai/pool deck. We don’t give table scraps—only what you provide. We feed all dogs in separate rooms. We have extra bedrooms if we need to separate them for any reason.
Pets
A typical day
We live in. Sterling oaks, and have lots of sidewalks to walk the dogs. They are allowed in all rooms of the house. They get frequent potty breaks.
