Debra's Doggie Den - Just like home
My husband and I are animal lovers in general and dog lovers in particular. We always worry when boarding our own dogs and, now that we've retired, we wanted to provide a "home like" boarding service for other dog lovers. We have 2 rooms dedicated for the dogs to roam free. Sofa for lounging and television or music available during their stay. Bright sunlight and large windows. We have a large kennel that is outside and the dogs are free to come and go through a doggie door in our kitchen. We have many years experience caring for dogs and our family currently includes 2 bichon Frise. They are both peaceful and friendly and love meeting new dog friends. We wanted to provide a reasonably priced animal boarding service close to home. We are located in Hunlock Creek, 25 minutes from Dallas or Wilkes-Barre, 15 minutes from Nanticoke. Drop off time is anytime from 9AM on and Pick up time is by noon or you must schedule another day. If special times are needed let us know. We will also board birds and small pets at a lower rate. Kirby and Jessie had a great time with Deb, her husband, and pups! Deb was in contact with me daily with pictures and pupdates! We had a very worry free, stress free vacation knowing our boys were in good hands. Highly recommend and will be using Deb again!
Debra and Scott were fabulous with Scruff! She sent pictures and let me know how he was doing. He was so happy and I could tell he’d had a great time with their dogs when I picked him up! I will definitely plan to use them again and would recommend to anyone:)
Debra took excellent care of Kaylee for us. She sent me updates and I was more than satisfied. I would use her again if the need arose. We are going home to Arizona and I wish she was closer so I could use her next time. She is the best. Highly recommend her to anyone.
Debra did a great job with Stormi. She is loving and kind and her home is very welcoming. It's very obvious she's a dog lover having two nice dogs of her own. I highly recommend her!

Schedule
We are retired and available most days full time - check the calendar. All boarders roam free during the day and sleep on floor or in bed you provide at night. Feedings and treats on daily schedule. Daily exercise in yard if good weather.

Safety, trust & environment
Dogs roam our secured house freely. Will either be on leash or on zip run if in yard. If dogs need to be separated we have a room we use for that purpose. If your dog likes to sleep in kennel please bring with you or we will provide a kennel or cage (extra fee).

A typical day
Freedom to play, rest, watch tv etc in house or on deck in good weather. yard play multiple times daily. Dogs roam or sit with us at night with TV on. Night lights for sleep on floor or in bed or kennel you provide.
