I believe that your dog is your dog so I will follow all instructions. I will only give the food that is allowed. Watching your dog in your home provides the least disruption to your dog while you are away.I love all dogs and will care for your dog like it is my own.

I would need to know that their rabies shots are current and how the dogs react to strangers in their house the for the first visit. After that I would then follow the instructions of the owners as to the dog's fears and their likes and dislikes. For me it is all about caring for the dog the way that best suits the owners and dogs. I am a continuation of the care of the owners while they are away.
A typical day
Per owner's instructions, I will walk the dog, play fetch, sit calmly and pet them and follow their cues as to what is needed. Sometimes even sitting outside and listening to nature is very comforting to the dogs. I am an avid walker so if the dog needs more exercise they will get what they need.

I would highly recommend Deborah Carpenter as a trustworthy, reliable and compassionate pet walker/sitter. Deb has cared for my Shiba Inu, Cody, from 8 weeks-17 years old. Deb and Cody had a great connection largely due to the fact that Deb always showed Cody plenty of attention and affection. Deb took Cody on walks, engaged in tons of play time, made sure Cody had water at all times, fed Cody according to schedule and gave him medication timely. While on vacation, Deb always sent updates and photos daily. I can honestly say that there was a sense of relief knowing Cody was safe in Deb's care and I would wholeheartedly recommend Deb as a dog sitter/walker without an ounce of hesitation.
Over the years, Debra watched my king charles spaniel at both my house and her house for extended time periods. My dog was always well cared for. Debra is trustworthy and dependable and always followed our directions. Debra provides a calm , caring and fun environment to our dog. She provided daily updates with pictures and texts. I would highly recommend Debra for any dog care.
