There is always someone home. I work varied hours and my husband is retired. My day starts with a walk around the yard watering flowers (picking up any poop). Fresh water in clean bowls at the 4 areas around the house (2 outside 2 inside) Time for treats! Crunchy for Riley and chicken jerky for Clancy and Benny. Our guys get walks every single day. They're shorter now for my seniors, but my younger guy gets a nice long walk.

I'm happy to walk your dog, big or small. No forced march, the walk is for them. Stop and sniff as often as needed, or a more vigorous walk if wanted. Vet visit? No problem, I'll take them there if you need. My house is peaceful and happy, the good sized yard is easily accessed, fenced and very dog friendly. Ive had my guys for years now, they are not dog aggressive at all- my 2 cats will regularly caress them! We can take (day) care of 1-2 more in our home or even an extended stay while you're away. Of course they must be cat and dog approved.

Pet care experience
There's never been a time in my life that I've been without at least one dog, they have always been the loves of my life. I've always adopted rescues, many times taking in the ones who weren't going to get homed otherwise. I've taken care of dogs with disabilities, senior dogs and cats too. As with most things love and patience wins the day.

Reviews
Leaving Edgar with Deborah was one of the easiest decisions I've ever made, and after seeing the incredible care she gave him, I would do it again in a heartbeat. From the moment you meet Deborah, it was obvious that she truly loves animals. Edgar isn't just a dog to us, he's family, and Deborah treated him with the same level of love, patience, and attention that we do at home. He is a rescue with a very sad past and she took great care to get to know his personality, routines, and quirks, and made sure he felt safe, comfortable, and cared for each time she walked and cared for him. Her communication was awesome and she kept us updated with messages and photos, which gave us so much peace of mind. It was clear that he was happy, relaxed, and having a wonderful time. If you're looking for someone trustworthy, compassionate, reliable, and genuinely wonderful with animals, I cannot recommend Deborah highly enough. Edgar absolutely loved and loves his time with her, and we are so grateful to have found someone we trust so completely with our beloved boy. Thank you for taking such beautiful care of Edgar. We feel incredibly lucky to have found you.
I have known Deborah for almost twenty years and she has always been lovingly dedicated to her animals, ready to provide anything they need. She has been very open to adopting animals that need extra care and is willing to do whatever their needs require. Deborah is a kind, funny, loyal, responsible and dependable person and would be a definite asset to organization.
When it comes to caring for my beloved dogs, there is no one I trust more than Deborah S. Truly an "animal lover", she is kind and responsible. She particularly excels with senior/disabled pets who may need extra assistance; patience & care.
I cannot recommend Deb enough! She takes such amazing care of my dog, Penny. Not only does she make sure Penny gets her walks and plenty of exercise, but she also genuinely pays attention to her well-being. If Penny’s attitude or energy seems even a little bit off, Deb communicates with me right away, which gives me so much peace of mind. She truly loves animals, and whenever I have to leave town, I can travel stress-free knowing my little girl is getting all the love, attention, and care she deserves (and then some!). She is simply the best."
