Pet owners will appreciate even though I now keep more than one dog at a time the safety of your dog while at my home is my priority. I only take dogs I have kept before since I know the personalities. None of the dogs I keep are aggressive. Some of the dogs play practically non-stop and others spend most of the time sleeping. If an owner requests a time with no other dogs I am willing to do that if I have no other dogs booked. I completed the Udemy dog CPR and First Aid course. I will listen to, and write down, the instructions provided by the owner. When pets have special needs I am detail oriented in order to provide those special needs. I have had many pets in my lifetime and have always treated them with love, affection and discipline (never physical). I currently have 3 dogs. When your dog is in my home he will be part of my pack family. My dogs are accustomed to other dogs in my home and they enjoy running in the house and in the yard, chasing birds and squirrels. I have taken almost every dog I have ever had to beginner, intermediate and advanced training in obedience and agility. Your dog will learn "place" while anyone is eating at the dining table. I have a large doggie door but your dogs will not be outside unsupervised. If a dog goes through the doggie door or wants outside through the door I will go outside, also. I worked at Rebelstar Kennels for 9 months when the owner became ill, caring for 14 adult breeding dogs and several litters of puppies. I fed the dogs, cleaned kennels and released dogs into an exercise yard. The owner passed away in February of 2018. While working at the kennel I realized that I enjoy the company of dogs too much to return to work for a dentist.
