Hi! I'm Debbie, and caring for animals has been my passion for most of my life. I began volunteering at a veterinary hospital as a teenager and was hired at just 16 years old. I pursued veterinary technology, passed the California Registered Veterinary Technician state board examination in 2011, and have spent nearly two decades working in small animal veterinary medicine. While I no longer maintain an active RVT license, I continue working in the veterinary field and use the knowledge and experience I've gained over the years every day. My background includes caring for puppies and kittens, healthy adult pets, senior pets, and animals with chronic medical conditions. I'm experienced with administering oral medications, eye and ear medications, injections, sub-q fluids, topical treatments, and providing attentive care to pets that need a little extra support. Animals have always been a huge part of my life beyond my career. I'm a proud Mom, wife, dog owner and chicken keeper, and I also have experience caring for parrots and other companion birds. I enjoy grooming my own dogs and have experience with routine grooming, including bathing, brushing, nail trims, and styling. In addition to companion animals, I'm comfortable caring for backyard flocks and many ranch and farm animals, understanding that each species has its own unique routines and needs. As a pet owner myself, I understand how important it is to know your animals are safe, loved, and well cared for while you're away. I strive to keep pets comfortable, maintain their routines, and provide plenty of love, playtime, and companionship. I'll also keep you updated with photos and messages so you can relax knowing your furry (and feathered!) family members are in caring, experienced hands. Whether your pet needs a walk, a drop-in visit, medication, companionship, or care for your backyard flock or small farm, I'd be honored to care for them as if they were my own.
